Beautiful property- we thought the place was beautiful pulling in. We had to be moved because there wasn’t working AC in our room and the room we were moved to was equally bad (and much smaller).

Great Hotel with excellent service. Bathroom lighting was poorly designed and almost impossible to use the mirror due to the darkness. Room was cold when we entered but staff came quickly and corrected the problem. Overall a great experiance

Nice looking hotel from the outside and a lovely setting. However inside it is a bit dated and could do with some maintenance to bring it back to grandeur. Corridors felt dark and gloomy and it was quite a maze to find reception and room. Pool is small and again a little tired. On arrival tasked if we wanted dinner which we replied yes - then told the restaurant was shut. Would have been good to be told in pre communication as the hotel is not walking distance to anything else. Garden room was nice with doors leading outside. Patio was unswept. The air con was noisy like an aircraft taking off, had to turn it off for any chance of sleep. Was then v hot. The fridge was just as noisy and had to be turned off too. Was asked to give a precise time if we wanted breakfast so didn’t bother.

Great hotel. Welll kept, nice rooms, Beautiful grounds, spa, pool, hot tubs (especially on the roof) free biking, canoeing/kayak/etc. Only negatives were the extremely loud air conditioning in the room and the restaurant menu which lacked many vegetarian choices (for us) and quite pricy. Not much choice of restaurants in the area… Otherwise highly recommended hotel.

Didnt want to the room they say that they make the room every 3 days! Absolutely nooo! I reach out expedia to ask for help and they talk to the hotel and then they came to make the room.. the personal in the hotel didnt speak ingles or spanish and they were upset because i didnt speak french.. i mean u r the one who works in a hotel in the front desk.. u should be bilingual..

Nice place and accommodations but was refused a table for dinner because there was an event going on. This was very disappointing. I came in a little late and the last thing I wanted to do was to start looking around in a town I know very little about with not very many restaurants to choose from. If I am paying well over $200.00 for a room, I expect to have a dinner table available for me at dinner time. This alone was a very major annoyance.

I like the history of the building. I like the facilities but since the change of management, it has become more complicated to use the spa area for us who are guests of the hotel. It's not so easily accessible as before. And there are less sauna cabins (only 1 left). As for the rooms, this was our 4th time staying at the hotel and I find that the last room they booked us in was smaller than the ones we had before. The bathroom was really small and the door of the bathroom is awkwardly placed. It opens onto a column and there is very little space to maneuver around. We stayed in room 311 and were 4 adults. It was quite small especially the bathroom. Some staff were talking loudly outside in the corridor in the morning. I could hear them down the hallway.

Checked in and went to our room only to find out the air conditioning in that building was not working. Went back to the desk to see what was wrong, was told we were supposed to have gotten a call about it, was offered a $50 credit at the restaurant which we weren't going to use and was told they were sold out and that it was supposed to be cool that night anyways. No apology. It didnt get under 25 degrees in our room at night which made for a sleepless night for our 1 year old. Was moved to a smaller room with a/c the next two nights, but still no apology. We have been going there for years and have noticed a slow decline it customer service and the rooms themselves. Will not be going back because of the way they handled the situation.

Très bien dans l'ensemble! Belle grande chambre de luxe. Des passerelles pour se promener dans l'hôtel, pas besoin de sortir dehors. Bons buffets pour déjeuner. Seul point négatif, les matelas un peu trop durs et les ventilateurs de salle de bains qui font un bruit épouvantable.
