Picked this hotel for the pool and breakfast and bith was very disappointing. Pool was to cold to even use. Front desk was great and did try to heat it up. No juices at breakfast and not many options.

Great staff, building issue

The staff at this hotel was EXTREMELY welcoming & friendly. I don’t think the mold in the bathroom was a housekeeping issue, as the room was overall spotless. It’s a building maintenance issue. The cold was on the ceiling, fixtures, & curtain. The bathroom is clearly not properly ventilated.

Check-in Glitch

When first checked in late on a thurs night, we went to room on 4th floor and it was not made up. We went to front dest and we did get a clean room on the first floor. That was the only glitch although it was unexpected.

Will find a different hotel for our nest road trip

The room we stayed was not thoroughly cleaned. Dust on the hard surfaces, dried soap on the bottle in the bath, and the comforter is dirty. The management seems lacking. There was trash sitting in the elevator lobby when we checked in. By the time when we checked out, the trash was still not collected!

It Serves Its Purpose

It was an okay hotel. The breakfast was fine, and the location was good for my purpose. I had asked for a room with a view..Well, I was in room 216. I got a view of the awning and the concrete wall in front of it. I saw nothing but concrete. The bed was fine, but the pillows were horrible. I woke up with a stiff neck. Would I stay there again? Probably not, but it served its purpose. It was not worth the price.

All good except breakfast

All was good except for the breakfast. It was rated highly but was just average. The bigger issue was the attendant's responsiveness. The "hot" water for tea and instant oatmeal was tepid and when we asked for hot water, it was 20 minutes before that came out and it had clearly been heated in a container that was last used for coffee and not cleaned. While I appreciate the busy morning rush, making excuses and blaming other people is not good customer service.

We booked on hotels and ordered extra linens and towels. Neither were provided. Went don’t and got linens from the desk but was told no towels could be offered due to a laundry swap? Never in my life heard of that.

Work has had me in bad places but nothing like thi

I had to wait 25 min in the main lobby because no one could be found, then after check on tried to get some work done on my laptop internet access was promised but access was less then 1 mb of download and 0 for upload. Discussed this with front end they reset the router and no changes happened. So i couldn't get any work done for the following morning. Asked for a late check out was granted 2 hours then house keeping coming in and trying to rush us out.

Wonderful 4th of July stay!

We decided to drive to WV for the 4th of July because we have never had the opportunity to visit and we chose Morgantown La Quinta! The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful, especially Jake and Thomas! Breakfast provided a variety of options, above the normal continental buffets. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. Had a problem with the sink drain and the toilet seat but both issues were handled quickly and efficiently. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. I would suggest putting descriptions on all the beautiful pictures displayed so that visitors know how to find the waterfalls and bridges! WV is so beautiful! And the fireworks in Morgantown were outstanding!

Okay

It was fine. I don’t like the $50 hold placed on a credit card. Most places I stay don’t do that. I recognize it’s a college town and maybe they’ve had some rowdy guests before. Also, I could hear my neighbors clearly but they weren’t being all that loud. It’s a decent hotel.
