Lovely one night stay at the farm. Family run and everyone was very friendly and welcoming and even took time to show us around the farm. Room was basic but clean. Had tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Breakfast is cooked to order and fresh eggs were lovely.
Road up to property is not for the faint hearted as very narrow lane for a couple of miles. But the farm is the final destination on the lane.
Only a 5 mins drive into Tavistock where there are lots of places to eat.
Great base for a night away at a family run working farm with fantastic views of the countryside.

Worth considering
Great hosts, excellent breakfast, good internet access, comfortable room and although the facilities are adequate they could benefit from a little tlc, but nevertheless it is a wonderful location to explore the local area from.

Authentic Dartmoor Farm
Highly recommended for the wonderful quiet setting and the authentic West Country cooking and reception. Sandra's breakfast and dinner were delicious and Arthur's farm tour was great. Ideal for an authentic experience of Dartmoor.

My favourite guest house in the whole of the uk
Such an amazing place run by amazing people and in a stunning area. Even accommodated me when I’d booked the wrong date. A real “get-away-from-it-all-place” Beautiful rooms and best breakfast ever. They really can’t do enough for you. Have stayed a couple of times and Can’t wait to return

Breakfast good I never asked if they took pets very clean & very friendly efficient people. Only thing was the shower I couldn’t work it , I pulled the cord but nothing happened when I switched it on I never mentioned it as I was only staying for one night. Also room felt cold when I arrived I did mention that.
