I had a good overall stay at the hotel. The swimming pool was really nice and well-maintained, although the water was a bit cold. My room had a beautiful lake view, which I really enjoyed and made the stay more relaxing. The rooms could use a bit of upgrading to feel more modern, but they were still comfortable. The hotel does have a restaurant on-site, which is convenient, but it would be great if they offered a complimentary breakfast option as well. Overall, a pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement.

This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been to. The floors hadn’t been mopped in my room… maybe ever? The corners of the room and behind the furniture was filthy. The mattress had mold on the corners. (I was checking for bed bugs) and the fridge smelled like someone left rotten fish in it. I immediately checked out and the front desk person apologized and stated I would get a refund for everything except for my first night’s stay. I did NOT get a refund - but hotels.com did provide me with $100 credit. Don’t book this hotel!

No one shade bear hygh unheayed pool Was told that he mbrelkas would be put out next day. Never did. I asked for my room to be serviced on 2nd day, they said they would but when I got in, it wasn’t done and all housekeeping was gone. Disappointing in all ways

I can't imagine how this place gets the ratings they have. The staff was friendly and responded to requests but in 6 days we never had anyone clean, bring towels, provide toilet paper, etc. This is an aging property that may once have been like a small inland resort, but now it's a grungy motel. Linens are grubby, lamps rusty, beds tiny... The pool is quite nice and lake view is pleasant if you get a room with a view. I’ve stayed in worse places and I've stayed in more expensive places, but the rates and the property are a mismatch for sure.

The price is good for the area but the property needs attention. Dated rooms, loud bathroom fan and not the cleanest. When checking in the attendant only put one day on keys so had to go get it updated. Wasn’t told about restaurant. It was ok but not great

The photos online do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the property and were very misleading. The room was not properly maintained. There were tiny little bugs and cockroaches present. Undergarments were left behind by a previous guest, which was both unhygienic and unacceptable. While the staff did make an effort to accommodate us, the overall condition of the room was such that no alternative offered would have been acceptable given the circumstances. I do NOT recommend this property.

The place is a dump. The room smelled terrible. Towels looked dirty. Room opened right to garbage can and parking lot, felt very exposed. The toilet ran all through the night and I asked twice to be moved to a different room so I could get some sleep and was declined. The staff was nice and friendly though so they get a star.

Actually I was not able to check in and stay at the hotel because without further notice by reservation was cancel by the hotel. I arrived about 11pm with 2 kids and I got this surprise! I reached Hoteis.com and I was informed that my reservation was confirmed. They tried to reach the hotel without any response so I was obligated to come back to Miami, 1 hour and a half from where I was because I didn’t have a place to stay. One of the worst experience that I ever had.
