I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at your resort. The experience involved multiple issues, from check-in delays to being placed in an inconvenient location, and an unfulfilled refund promise.
Over a month ago, I made a reservation after speaking with a front desk representative. During that call, I specifically requested Building One on the first floor near the swimming pool. I was bringing my 4 year old grandson. I was assured that this note would be added to my reservation, which I confirmed by calling back.
However, when we arrived at the property at approximately 3:00 PM, there was significant confusion at the front desk. We were told that our rooms were not ready and to return in an hour. This meant waiting in the parking lot in over 100-degree heat with no accommodation or assistance.
When we returned at 4:00 PM, there was a long line of guests still waiting to check in. After standing in line again, we were given one room key and then told to return yet again for the second room. By the time we were fully checked in, it was 6:00 PM, after making multiple trips to the desk and enduring long waits.
To make matters worse, instead of honoring my original request, we were placed in Building Six at the back of the property, far from the swimming pool, which was the main reason we made the reservation. The worst thing the resort had no rolling carts available to help transport our luggage.
