Got there quit a bit later than check in hours, but was helped by someone on the phone. Room was neat and comfy, I had a short but good night sleep

The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. All the staff are just lovely. From bar, cooks, cleaner etc. pub is warm and welcoming from early to late - open for breakfast and throughout for other meals. Great choices at reasonable prices. Local walks are stunning. The dog and I had a lovely time. We will be back!

I had a lovely stay at Carpenters Arms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, parking on-site was a good size, and the food was excellwnt. I had breakfast and dinner twice and was quite happy with all the meals and the service. The room was small but to be expected for the price, will definitely stay there again when I'm back in the Swindon area😁

We arrived at about 3.00pm (check was supposed from 12.30pm) and the establishment was closed. There were messages on windows to say if closed to call a number , but the number did not work. The staff turned up at 6.00pm and when I went to pay they said I owed £180 (cost of stay) despite having confirmation both from Expedia and establishment via email that I had paid £90. No manager on site and took ages before they would accept I had paid deposit.
