The problem with this place is that it’s just old. The building is probably early 90s at least. The staff are friendly and they do a good job with what they have. Bedding is clean and comfortable. Clean towels are provided as well as soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The walls are thin and there were a lot of slamming doors in the morning(?). You kind of have to slam the doors to close them properly. There is an asian restaurant there and they give you breakfast vouchers so that’s good. There’s also an indoor pool

The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast bar included scrambled eggs and sausage links in addition to waffles, bagels, and cereal, but they were not all that tasteful. The pool and hot tub were great amenities. The stay was great but I would suggest planning to get breakfast elsewhere.

The hotel is run down, hot tub only 2 jets worked. Wood ants everywhere. Was told I couldn't get a 2nd cup of coffee after I used my breakfast voucher for cold scrambled eggs without another voucher.

Econo Lodge stay was excellent made possible by KM the manager who understood my circumstances. I had been on a group motorcycle trip ( bike was totaled) when I was in an accident. The ER hospital nearest had discharged me during late evening. By the time I booked the Econo Lodge stay I had asked my group to continue the rest of trip w/out me. Next I was surprised that there was no Uber service or taxi to take me to the Econo Lodge by midnight. Upon arrival to hotel next day after my spouse drove from Chicago to pick me up at the ER and travel to the hotel, we met Dina the receptionist. She was a great person to talk to and made the stay enjoyable. She has excellent customer service skills. KM the manager and Dina the receptionist made our stay great and allowed me to recover. I would highly recommend Econo Lodge in Manistee, Michigan.
