Staying Near Family

No elevator and steep old staircase. Not appropriate for older clientele, especially if you have bad knees. Staff was very helpful with luggage and providing any other needs, but one still had to walk up and down those stairs. It is a unique property built in 1929 in a nice setting, but not for "old" folks. Also not enough outlets in an undersized room.

Cleanest rooms in LI. Super nice employees

Great experience. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have been in LI. The neighborhood was safe and it felt like we were guest at a house. We were received very nicely and quick. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy. Its an old Inn so the floors are a bit crooked but nothing major. The bathroom was surprisingly nice for an old Inn. There was no AC (again its an old Inn) but the weather was cool outside so cracked open a window and it was nice. The Inn keeper offered us ventilators if the room got hot but we didn’t need it. It’s a great place for Staying for a day or two. Super nice. I will recommend and i will stay again. 10/10

Very nice, comfortable hotel w/excellent service.

This is a really nice hotel, at very reasonable rates, and everything is clean and neat and well cared for, especially the guests. There is a well-reviewed restaurant as well which I didn't eat at, but the menu looks delicious. During my stay I left an expensive item in my room when I flew home, and they were nice enough to put it aside for me and send it right out to me within a day or two. I will be going back for sure.

To small bathroom.

Walls are thin the rooms are really noisy. You can hear people beside you and above you. They were sawing wood and mulching early in the morning Room is small and bathroom is even smaller.

Manny is the heartbeat of the Jones Beach Motel

Manny is literally the heartbeat of the Jones Beach hotel. He made my stay so accommodatable honestly I’ve been at no offense but way bigger and nicer hotels and this has been my favorite stay I’ve ever been at. Kudos to Manny and in the morning she was great I think that was her name. This guy is such a saint he even helped this old man that fell on the floor twice lol

Underwhelming and outdated haunted hotel

I wish I had known ahead of time that this would not be a typical “hotel experience”. The pictures and description do not reveal that the property is not updated. So it lacks modern amenities. It’s very small and the site is amidst a suburban, residential community . The property was at least 3 stories high without an elevator. The stairs were incredibly steep and squeaky. My daughter fell trying to come down, so I would not recommend to families with children or physically impaired. The rooms are very small and no central AC/Heat. I haven’t seen a radiator in almost 30 years. I was afraid that the curtains would catch fire!!! I was not comfortable with how old the property was and it almost felt like the beginning of a haunted hotel movie. That being said, the property was at least cleaned. Manny at the front desk was so courteous and appeared offended that we would carry our bags by ourselves. He also gave helpful tips for navigating the area. The other employees appeared indifferent, and they barely spoke. What the property lacked in amenities could have been made up with in customer service, but it was a let down.

Comfortable for the most part, but the toilet handle did not flush properly in our room. The flapper does not close and water does not stay in the tank unless the cover is removed and the chain is pushed down. Staff is very accommodating and personable.

My bed did not have a top sheet it only had the mattress sheet and the comforter on top of that I had to call the front desk for a sheet that I had to put on by myself and I ended up discarding the comforter and just wrapping myself up in the top sheet that the front desk guy dropped off
