Grand Sol Hanoi GSH, is a reasonably new hotel looking to make an impact on a congested Hanoi hotel scene. I stayed for 6 nights and can wholeheartedly recommend GSH. An excellent front of house team, David, Jamie and Tank, with rest of the team offering a super clean service, an excellent comprehensive breakfast, in a lovely relaxing environment, with an albeit small but lovely roof top pool. Sure there is street noise, but hey, you are in the middle of Hanoi, a city which thrives. The beauty of GSH is that there is a more peaceful sanctuary to be found down by smaller of the two big lakes - 10 minutes walk away. Alternatively go into the old quarter where it's manic. Grand Sol Boutique is an excellent wee hotel.....go for it !!!!
