We booked room a year in advance for Sandpolo. We get there hour early(about 2 pm ish), so get told room not ready yet, said to us have to wait for room to be ready at 3 pm. (My mum and my sister already got their room and they get there about 1 pm!)
So it’s fine, we went to bar to have drink waiting for room at 3 pm. Went to check at 3 pm and get told room still not ready! Will be another half hour! And we not happy about it as already told them we need to go to Sandpolo by 4 pm! We need to shower and get change etc. reception told us that we can go to get ready at Spa changing room and nothing she can do about it!!! Seriously we paid nearly £300 per room and she want y us to go shower and get ready for Sandpolo in changing room!! We are really disappointed so much. As hotel us not cheap hotel, but service is very low level! By 3.15 pm, reception still said nothing else she can do! She will asked if cleaner can get room done in 5 min!! ( which is should be like that before 3 pm check in!)
So we get room about 3.20 pm! Oh she did offer refund 20% to us but we not ok with that. We need our room to be ready by time!Walked in to room 113, all we smell is worse cleaner armpits!! I know they rushing to clean room but those smell should never let customers experience when stay!! It was really bad and both feel sick in toilet !! Our room had only 2 small top window that can open! So have to hurry get change and leave room!
End up with we got no time to shower and get ready proper
