Wow. This place was so wonderful. The place had just opened the first night I stayed following a complete refurbishment under new ownership. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms divine and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. They have other nice touches like a port on arrival; water, tea, coffee and cake available in the dining area at all times. I could happily move into this place - I felt so at home.

Absolutely loved my stay at Augusta! The staff were super helpful and accommodating at all hours. The complementary breakfast was delicious. The room was very thoughtfully curated and was in pristine conditions. Little details like complementary tea and cake throughout the day, the handwritten note, tote bag, and pastel de nata when checking in, nice bathroom products, etc make all the difference. Lastly, the location is great, it's right at the city centre and one would think that due to this there would be a lot of noise, but no, the rooms are greatly insulated. Thank you Augusta Grand Hotel for making stay in Lisbon amazing!

I understand that this is a relatively new hotel. The building was clean, and the location was excellent. However, during my stay, there was a power and Wi-Fi outage that lasted several hours during the daytime. I even had to go to the reception on the sixth floor just to charge my phone. What disappointed me most was the attitude of a female receptionist when I asked about the outage. She simply stated that they were aware of the problem and were working on it. That was all. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and her tone was completely matter-of-fact. I understand that unexpected technical problems can happen. However, how a hotel responds to its guests in such situations matters just as much as the facilities themselves. Although the other staff members were friendly and helpful, the attitude of a single staff member can significantly affect a guest’s overall impression of a hotel.

This hotel is very centrally located to all the shops, dining & tourist activities. The beds are comfortable & the rooms have a good build quality with little to no noise from the neighboring rooms. The rooms are a bit tight but outside of that I would recommend the hotel for future travelers.
