The room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean, host responsive. Metro is very close. I wish the description of the property stated that the room is on the 3rd floor and the elevator does not work every day. Also, the windows are authentic (old) and you hear everything from the outside, it can be loud with party people screaming and singing all night long. Mattress is too firm and uncomfortable. If you are travelling light and exploring Madrid all day and night long with a short sleep in the early morning, this accommodation fits well. If you need a good night sleep, maybe choose a different location.
