This was a lovely stay! Our room was clean and the bathroom was so cute! It had a clawfoot tub! Our host David built us a fire upon our arrival. Breakfast was well presented and yummy as well! We were also able to see the parrots feeding at the dining window! This place me be outside of major city but it is very close to Echo Point. Would definitely recommend!

We needed a day or two tranquility and the Chalet was perfect for our stay in Medlow Bath. Reasonably priced extremely clean and tidy and the hosts were very accommodating. The breakfast was top notch. Thanks - we'll be back.

David and David were very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was wonderful as was the property and how it was decorated with unique art. We took their advice and visitors Govett’s Leap on our way to our next destination. What a beautiful place! If we ever get back to the area we will definitely be repeat renters.

I stayed two nights at the Chalet Guesthouse. The hosts were friendly and accessible and always on hand, helping us with a takeaway order the night we stayed in. The guest house is such a beautiful creative space with unique furnishings and art work. The dining/living room is comfortable and roomy and looks out through expansive windows onto the garden. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a spotlessly clean and bright en-suite. Under floor heating was much appreciated in the evenings before bed and on a cool morning. Breakfast was excellent and on request, the espresso coffee was delicious. I’ll be back!

Art Hotel getaway

A historical hotel that was great for getting away from the stresses of the city for a long weekend. Highlights included native birds feeding on the window sills, deep bathtubs for unwinding, and almost every inch of wall space covered by art, making it feel like a gallery. The hotel was like a mix between a hotel and bnb, where the hosts gave the perfect mix of helping and letting us have time to ourselves to relax in the dining and lounge areas. A convenient location in the mountains to be able to drive to Katoomba/Leura, travel further to Blackheath, or even walk to the Hydro Majestic for a few cocktails.

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Guest House and would happily return. The two Davids were exceptional hosts, genuinely welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for their guests. I had a great stay for my weekend in the Blue Mountains! Surrounded by nature but close to so many attractions in the area (and also close to the train station if you don't have a car), after a day full of activities this is the perfect place to relax and plan for the next day, which will most likely start with parrots joining for breakfast - it was simply an unforgettable stay with great service by the owners! PS The recommendation to take an afternoon ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach on my following visit to Sydney worked out perfectly, thanks a lot for the tip! :-)
