The room was a surprise, it was so much better than the photos showed. Everything was beyond expectations, the pub setting, the food, the room and the use of a slip area to paddle board from. Only area that slipped slightly was our bathroom that looked a bit tired, but it was perfectly useable. Would highly recommend and use again, worked in harmony with our booking at Cotswold canoes.

Our accommodation was in a separate building from the main pub so it was very quiet. Very spacious with a generous hospitality tray, large smart TV, large en suite. Very comfortable bed complete with a dressing table, stool & a couple of armchairs. Picturesque riverside venue complete with friendly ducks & swans.

Having just had the government national warning about fire danger I was anxious to see the national news at 2200. The TV was completely detuned and the rather poor efforts of a couple of staff failed to produce any results. Very annoying and was glad to move on the next day leaving the useless TV behind.

Our room was clean and had good facilities. It was in a separate block to the main bar and restaurant, which was welcomed. Breakfast not available until 9am, which is quite late. A great stopping off point whilst walking the Thames Path.
