I needed an accessible room because I had injured my knee and couldn’t walk. I was there to visit DukeMedical Center.
The accessible room had an extremely heavy main door with tight tension and difficult to open. The shower was a standard shower, not accessible via wheelchair. The room was tight and would never meet accessibility standards.
That said, I’ve stayed here many times. The rooms are dated but clean. I’ve stayed inna proper accessible room here and it was great…just not sure what happened this time around.
Breakfast is good, but omelettes have changed from 13 dollars to 19 dollars. Yikes.
Excellent dining options nearby, like Parizade, Juju, and Del Toro. Expensive but all are exceedingly great choices.
