nice place, perfect staff, but charge VAT

it's really a nice stay there, the room i choose is the one with kitchen and living room, which is very nice. they have washing machine to enable self landruy, also front desk speaks very good english, they helped me a lot when I need my ties to be repaired, thanks for everything. only one thing is not so good is that this hotel charges foreigners 16% vat while other hotels not .

Ideal for families looking for tranquility

This hotel is ideal for a family! We stayed in their 2 bedroom unit. The bedrooms had very good AC. That good that we could leave the doors to the rooms open, and the cool would spread to the livingroom room where the sofabed was. They could do a little more to the lightning in the rooms and living area, during the day that isnt an issue, but at night its a little dark for my taste. Also the water heater shower had a twitch, it kept from going to extremely hot to cold without turning the knob. Other than that, the staff was very hands on, and very friendly. The area where the hotel is located is ideal for families looking for peace and tranquility and they had a good breakfast.

Mauvaise expérience

Je n’ai pas pour habitude d’écrire des commentaires, mais là je me dois d’avertir les futurs touristes qui envisagent de rester dans cet hôtel. J’étais déjà resté dans cet hôtel il y a 3 ans et malheureusement j’ai découvert un tout autre hôtel. Les employés de l’hôtel ne sont pas aimables, on a l’impression de les déranger. On ne prend pas en compte votre statut Hôtel Reward malgré que des chambres étaient disponibles. Les employés utilisent le même ascenseur que tout le monde, il faut donc prévoir de longs moments d’attente. Tout simplement déçu de cet hôtel et je n’y retournerai plus.

We felt there was a lot of misleading with this hotel. We arrived around 10:30 from the airport and nothing was open to get something to eat. Next day we went to add parents to room only to find out there was an extra charge of $25 per person per night. Now I understand that many hotels charge so I looked on the website and found nothing saying this hotel does this so was taken back when it was told to us even after explaining to them they need to make it clear prior to coming so you are prepared. Theyhad a power outage that same day and we were in the elevator, but thankfully it hadnt moved yet so we were able to pry the door open and get out. Next we were told there was a full bar upstairs so we go up there had very limited bar selection no juices, no ginger ale, no sprite no specialty cocktail unless you want gin and tonic. Downstairs restaurant we asked for a drink cause we were told from upstairs they had a bigger selection only to be told at the Downstairs restaurant that upstairs had more options. Menu online shows all these different drinks but noone had the ingredients to make them. All in all we felt there was a lot of misleading information to get you to reserve this hotel only to find out they could not deliver on what was on their website. The hotel is nice as a building however how it is managed is very disappointing. Another point is we dont come to Colombia to listen to English music or eat American food. So start playing Colombian music by the pool.

I had an incredible stay at Sites Hotel in Medellín! The hotel offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooftop terrace with a pool and stunning views of the city was the highlight—such a peaceful spot to relax after exploring. The staff was exceptional, always friendly, and went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. The location is ideal, close to many attractions and restaurants in El Poblado, yet tucked away in a quiet area. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel in Medellín, Sites Hotel is a fantastic choice. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!
