We enjoyed our stay over all. Clean. Our AC unit sounded like it smoked a pack a day. Nothong we couldnt ignore though. When we told the front desk at checkout she said they'd get someone on it right away. Parking was also a challenge

A decent stay for the price. A few items that need attention in the bathroom ( floor had some stains on the tiles, water shoots out of the toilet when flushing). Room was not as clean as i'd expect but value for money was good

Stay short, only two nights came with my mom. The beds are pretty good. The tap in the bathroom is very hard to use. It’s terrible. The chairs around the dinette in the dining room are sunken. There’s no cushion in the bum. The rooms are big and spacious but dated.

While staying in Vernon - I took ill and the many hiway reports of snow were very disturbing so we hoped to extend our stay by one more night, in the same room, so we did not have to packup & unpack again. The front desk clerk said "no problem!! " We were thrilled and relieved and travelling the next day was totally problem free !!

The hotel itself was great. The area around it, not so much. We discovered a homeless camp across the road, which left us concerned about the safety of our vehicle at night. We subsequently chose to move to another hotel a bit out of town, and hopefully in a safer location. I would encourage the hotel to contact local government / law enforcement to deal with the problem.

rooms were nice and clean, easy location close to things, hotel staff kinda hid in the office so no real interaction with any of them. It was a pretty decent room and the price was great

The front desk lady was very polite and professional. Hotel is clean and presentable. The website did say that part of the amenities included breakfast. Upon asking at check in we were told that this is NOT the case. They do say that you can have 10% off at Ricky's (the restaurant attached to the hotel). For our family of 4 that is a considerable cost even with 10% off. So our trip budget is significantly altered. We got a room with kitchen and it has a little sitting room and separate bedroom. That's very nice. Very basic cooking tools, but enough to get by. One medium fry pan, one medium saucepan /pot. No sharp knives. Plates, bowls, mugs. Can opener, wine opener, cutlery. No mixing bowls. Two dish cloths, no dish towels. Dish soap and sponge. No dish drying rack. There are 2 Best Western hotels in Vernon, BC. I didn't realize I booked the one WITHOUT a pool. My grandkids were disappointed as was I. I should have paid more attention. Very close to mall & other businesses. Booking with a 3rd party online saved us a good amount of $.

I really enjoyed our stay here. There was lots of room, with a kitchen, living areas and bedroom. Good access to local stores, some of which were walkable. The beds were comfortable, the pull-out sofa bed as a couch less so (being a sofa bed). Having a kitchen that was separate from the bedroom, was very convenient. It included dishwasher, stove, microwave, full fridge and freezer and a pot, a pan and most utensils that we needed for cooking simple meals in the room. I was surprised they didn't supply salt or pepper, but the multiple nearby shops allowed us to find what we needed. From a dollar store for the salt and pepper shakers, a local bakery, to Walmart, Safeway and Real Canadian Superstore. They had laundry on the premises that was reasonably priced ($CA1.50 per wash or dry). They only stocked Tide and Bounce dryer sheets, but again, local shops made it easy to find the brands we wanted. They could make change at the desk if needed. The hotel restaurant was a combined Ricky's All Day Grill and Famoso Italian Pizzeria. The Ricky's sandwiches were decent, nothing special. The Famoso Pizzeria served fire-roasted pizza that had a delightfully crispy and light crust. The heart shaped pizza was very cute and very cheesy. Both the manager and waitress were both friendly, but a little busy making service a little slow. Overall a perfect place to stay while visiting Vernon for more than a few days.
