This is a very decent hotel. Great location. A few steps from the bus station thanks to the fantastic traffic planning for the city. Excellent choices of pillows. The staff are warm and friendly. Apart from the little accident that happened at the first night(the hotel didn't give me the port view room that I booked because of the booking system problem, so make sure you double confirm the room type with the hotel via message before you arrive. Although they tried to fix it once they found out the problem, I still had to stay at a cheaper room with no view for the first night and change room on the next day. That kinda interrupted my travel plan), the overall experience was great. Even if I didn't want the daily room cleaning service, I could still call the reception to get fresh bottle water for free everyday. One of the female reception staff who wore glasses had given me quite an impression because of her very sunny beautiful smile;) A few suggestion for the hotel: 1)since I'd been staying at 2 different room, I suggest that the hotel can add more hooks at the toilet/bathroom in the cheaper rooms(the port view room 213 had 2 hooks in the bathroom, but the bathroom in room 310 had no hooks at all which was quite inconvenient.) 2) put a few more boxes of spare facial tissue in the room so I don't have to ask for it every time when I run out of it.
The first night. Make sure you double confirm the room type with the hotel before you arrive!
The next day I got the right room type.
Sadly it was located at lower level so the port view was not so clear.

Everything about the hotel was fabulous. The staff were really friendly & helpful. The room was very clean, had a mini bar & good coffee facilities, also had a powerful shower. There was a rooftop bar area with a seating area & a small pool. It was in a great location near to the harbour, close to cafes, bars & restaurants. Highly recommended.

Like another person has commented earlier: The hotel is nice, the staff was helpful and polite, but the room temperature at 25+ celcius is an absolute no-go. I get that there is no _cooling_ of the air in March, but in the evening with 10 degrees outside the vent in the room still produced _hot_ air. The only real option was to open the window onto a busy multi-lane street. I book good hotels primarily to sleep well, and that was not an option here. Kudos to the person at the check-in desk who arranged a move to another H10 hotel up the street. Good personell, horrible climate control. And yes, other hotels in old buildings in Barcelona manage to have decent air.

The room temperature was 27 degrees without AC. The price was about right but not a 4 star hotel. Location great, room was tidy and looked after by house keeping. But serious ventiolation issues and this was in just now in february. Outside temp 18. Hotel temp 27. So make sure to ask around the AC before you book.

This hotel is nice, quiet, clean and has a good location. Reception staff was really very nice. But: we weren't aware of the "open bathroom"-solution. We know that many interior decorators think this is a great idea, but we don't like that at all. There is only a glass door to the toilet, so no privacy there either. We liked the hotel, but unfortunately we will not choose it again.

Die moderne Einrichtung der Zimmer und der Hafenblick haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut, insbesondere auch weil einzelne Gerichte am Platz serviert wurden. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich.

It's a great hitel to stay at when in Barcelona. First, the location is great. Minutes from the metro, seconds from the harbour, not far from the beach, and about 10 min walk to the gothic quarter. The area is safe and clean. It also has a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is very good. It has a range of useful services. The staff is always there to help no matter the hour. There is always someone around. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. All the staff, from reception to cleaning service, to restaurant. The breakfast is lovely. With a range of healthy and local options. Real fresh juice. The rooms are great. Spacious. Well equipped. And they have high quality products for shampoo, hand wash, and body wash. I loved the fact that the hotel is only powered by renewable energy. (Or so they say - let's hope the claim is true). My only gripe: The rooms are not very soundproof. I could hear the street quite a bit. And the neighbours has a young child, when they screamed (which they have the right to do), you could hear them quite clearly. Overall, I recommend and would stay there again.
