Property in need of TLC, but staff 💯

The property overall is lovely. However, it is desperately in need of some TLC and maintenance. There were plugs in my room that did not work. The staff are who made the stay worthwhile. Nameisha and Shyaine at Customer Service, Tina at the pool bar and the many servers at The Palm that made the experience fantastic and bearable.

Would not recommend at this price point

Room: My room was clean and modern with a decent balcony attached. Some form of shade/covering on the balcony would have been good Property grounds: Property grounds were decent. Grass and hedges were well maintained and people were constantly mopping floors. However some areas outside are probably in need of painting/maintenance. Amenities: Not many amenities that typical all-inclusives at this price point would have. Would be nice if they had a beach bar, also some of the pool bars were not staffed at certain points of the day. Service: Staff was polite and friendly for the most part with the odd person having some attitude. I think this was due to the fact though that they were clearly understaffed putting the staff who were there under stress. Pools and Beach: Didn't really spend much time in any of the pools as the main pool was quite a ways from my room. The beach was pristine as it is Negril, so nothing the hotel has to really do there. There were alot of beach chairs and umbrellas for guests. Food: The main reason why I am reviewing this place so poorly is the food. Food should always be the thing that resorts focus on the most for their guests and I can say that this is some of the worst food I have ever had at a resort. Options were limited, the food tasted terrible (most food was either overcooked, bland or seasoned badly). Food staff were clearly overworked and in need of help. The best food I had the entire time there was the burger, which says alot.

We had an amazing time at Azul! The property is beautiful and a perfect location on the beach. Their beach setup was nicer than the other resorts nearby (honestly). The food was 7/10, but still good for resort food. I recommend trying some of the food places nearby. The staff and entertainment were 10/10!! I Couldnt have been happier. And there were plenty of bars on the grounds (lots of swim up bars). The drinks were ok. They were what you would expect from an all-inclusive, lots of sugary mixed drinks lol. Downside is that the property does need renovations, but that is really it. Everything is modern, just needs a facelift.

The people are nice but certain little things like not being able to get face cloths for the last two days of our trip towels, how we first got there if we said that the bedding was stained or dirty they said that it was an excuse of people wearing make up or Self tanner. The room service took two hours to get and then the food still wasn’t great at all nowhere was the food excellent.

From the moment we arrived, the experience at Azul Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The resort is absolutely stunning, but what truly made the trip unforgettable was the incredible staff who went above and beyond in every way. Carlos , was professional, friendly, and always visible around the resort, making sure everything ran smoothly. His leadership truly shows—everything was organized, welcoming, and efficient. Terri Ann at the front desk was a delight! Her warm smile and attentive service made check-in a breeze, and she was always available to help with any questions or needs throughout our stay. She even checked in with us during the week to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The housekeeping team kept our room spotless and always added thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. They were prompt, respectful, and consistent every day. The entertainers and dancers brought life and energy to the evenings. Their talent and enthusiasm created such a vibrant atmosphere that we looked forward to every show. It was fun, exciting, and added a special charm to our nights. Lastly, the restaurant staff deserves a standing ovation. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with such genuine care. The servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was always top-tier. Azul Resort didn’t just meet our expectations—it exceeded them. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our next visit

Need more Authentic Jamaican dishes. Room service food was nasty! Presentation was poor. Bed was comforting however the showers need new shower head as I noticed mold! The pool by the swim out had mold growing as well. Pauline housekeeper was supper nice overall the staff was nice. Property grounds were clean. Just fix up room, give better Jamaican food options, clean up the shower heads and swim out pool.

This resort is in need of a refresh - rooms and facilities were very tired. The only saving grace was the stretch of beach. The staff was also warm and welcoming. The food options were limited - no variety, mostly buffet and only one a la carte restaurant open at dinner. How was there no beach jerk grill/hut in Jamaica. The buffet had a little Jamaican food, no local fruits - just basic. They also ran out of everything - beach towels, straws, spoons and items on the menu. Expected more.

My experience was amazing from the moment I got there the bell hop was full of energy the bartenders where great especially Tina she was my favorite bartender very friendly and great energy even the supervisor Sheryl helpful anything I needed she either pointed me in the right direction or she personally assisted I had a wonderful experience I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and anyone looking for a good time in a clean environment look no further

This was my first time staying at this resort, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. The cleanliness was unacceptable—my room had dirty bedsheets and mold in the shower. It was clear that proper cleaning protocols were not being followed. The room I booked was not the one I received. I had made a specific reservation, but was given a completely different room without any explanation or attempt to fix the issue. The maid service was practically nonexistent, and even when they did show up, they barely did anything. On top of that, the resort frequently ran out of food. There were times when no food was available at all, and when it was, the options were extremely limited. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. It was a huge disappointment and not at all worth the money. I expected basic cleanliness, service, and organization, and sadly, none of those were delivered.
