This place was quiet and clean and within easy drive to beaches, even had a shuttle to their beach. The pool was so nice and we rented a cabana for a day of relaxation. The restaurant was good food, try the she-crab soup it was excellent!

One of my worst experiences in years. TV was all static, had to call for help, wait for someone to arrive to tell me to dial 251 on remote get to a very non-functional guide. Charged $4 for a coke from the bar gun because it was 'free refills'...I just wanted one coke. "Guest" Laundry was full of resort towels for a couple hours... Didn't restock our Keurig, and then charged us $9 for coffee - same dumb reason and again...we just wanted one cup of coffee. The resort has free ice tee - but not free basic coffee in the morning. Trying to deal with climate control with a 20 button remote that made no sense and was just icons that you couldn't really see sucked and temp in the room was very up and down. Black-out curtains don't actually cover the whole window and lights left on right outside, lot of light coming in from hallway through 2" gap in door. Then, after we finally decided to roll with all the above - on our second to last morning, we checked Breakfast time, open till 11 it said. We show up at 10:37 and were refused service, they said "there isn't enough people staying here to keep it open so we closed 7 minutes ago"..... I asked where that was posted or how did they try and let us know as we had been in the room all morning and could have had breakfast earlier...front desk just looked at me blankly and said 'Oh'. Seriously, that was the only response. Not what can we do for you, the kitchen was still open for lunch they couldn't make some eggs??? Just bad

Das Zimmer war von der Größe super, leider jedoch nur schlecht gereinigt. Hinter den Türen, zwischen den Schränken und auf dem Balkon war sehr viel alter Staub und Dreck. Das Zimmer wurde auf Nachfrage gereinigt; nicht gut, aber immerhin. Wir hatten unseren Hochzeitstag angemeldet. Leider gab es hier keine Aufmerksam vom Hotel auf dem Zimmer, obwohl wir es Monate im Vorraus angemeldet hatten. Es gab jedoch ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Parkplätze waren vor dem Hotel gratis vorhanden. Frühstück sehr teuer. Die Poolbar war ok, preislich recht hoch, aber ok.

I always enjoy staying at Casey Key Mainland. The employees are always friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and reasonably priced. The bar and restaurant are a big plus to me. I only stay at Casey Key Mainland when I'm in the Venice/Sarasota area.

I was excited to return to this property, having stayed here several times including for my wedding in 2019. My guests included Kid Rock, Robert Plant, Dee Snider, and others. I loved Bentley’s and enjoyed Rod, but I was aware that ownership had changed and told that the property had undergone an overhaul. My experience in this room has been disappointing at best. The carpet is disgusting. I mentioned how filthy one of my friend’s feet were, before realizing that all of ours were frim the CARPET! I am an extremely clean person & was appalled by the condition. Additionally: • A used Q-tip and an opened condom wrapper were found in the sofa cushions • The towels were damp • There was no hand soap in the downstairs bathroom • We requested extra sheets for the sofa; the fitted sheet was dirty I was unable to sleep due to concerns about the cleanliness of the sofa and room hygiene. I chose to stay here for my birthday (despite my dinner party being in Sarasota) because I have always loved this property, which makes the situation more disappointing. Love the hotel, but it needs a DEEP cleaning!
