Nice renovated motel

This renovated motel has a nice pool area with quiet live music. The hotel staff was kind and the room very clean. We were there off-season and only one night so it was very calm. The pool was heated and towels provided by poolside. The room does not have carpet which I appreciate as it makes the room and air so much cleaner.

So, I paid for an upgraded 2 bed room which changed to the back building because of our dog which I requested on the initial reservation. I also called the resort twice to confirm. It was quite dirty. The pool area was very pretty and the service was great! We had a free appetizer coupon which we could not eat because it was sitting so long. Bruschetta was awful. The resort could not figure out how to charge the food to the room because it was booked by another company so we had to pay separately. They insisted my credit card was at its limit. It is not really a resort, just an old place with a famous local chef. My husband’s birthday was a disappointment. Oh well…

Bathroom layout was stupid.. no countertop in a hotel bathroom? Ridiculous!! Restaurant service for breakfast was lacking. Food was great for dinner and breakfast, but annoying older waitress… Room temperature very hard to regulate

Satisfactory, not stellar

Check in was easy, staff friendly. Bed was comfortable. Issue was with bathroom, particularly the shower. The grout needed a good cleaning and scrubbing. Did not anticipate a dehumidifier running in the room.

Third party booking, back building no elevator

We booked through Expedia. Once at Resort given different room in back building on second floor. No elevator. Note Resort wasn't not sold out or that busy. Feel like because cheaper rate and booked from “third party” then pushed to the back building on second floor no elevator. At checking lady commented “third party”. Who cares where it was booked. Better to have room occupied than not. Felt we were treaded different. Live and learn. Restaurant breakfast was good but service was slow. Prices on menu in room different than at the actual restaurant. Suggest update or remove information from room.

Good priced hotel for what you get

Only hotel with a security guard. Was concerned about issues and problems that they would need this. Large room, bed was comfortable. Shower hot water was only warm and made taking one not comfortable. Room smelled a bit like smoke was suppose to be in abnon smoking room.

Don’t waste your money

As soon as we walked in, it had a horrible stench of mold! Dead ants along the window sill. One of the panels was put in the wrong way, so the light was shining through and anyone outside could look into our room! I didn’t realize it till I was laying down in bed with all the lights off. the bathroom was repulsive. I saw one of mold flies in the shower. The hinges on the bathroom door are rusty. I had to wait to get to the next hotel to shower because I wasn’t stepping foot in that dingy shower. So, all day, my hair stunk like mold. All our belonging smelled like mold. On the website it’s false advertising. It probably looked like a really nice 10 years ago, but it looks like a rundown motel in person. The bed lamp was rusty! you guys can’t afford to buy a new lamp? The beds weren’t comfortable. I couldn’t sleep because I felt like some thing was going to crawl on me. But thank God,Nothing did. At the Pool area run down nothing like the pictures. The patio chairs were old, and had mildew and the bars were sticking through the seats. My mom wanted to have breakfast there. They gave us a $20 voucher. I told her I wouldn’t want to eat in this place. But she talked me into it saying we should get our money worth, so we’re waiting to be seated. There was a line to be seated even though there were a lot of seats available. The people in front of the line left, I think they were waiting too long to be seated. The waitress could have told us to seat ourselves. Instead they we
