This is a quaint bed and breakfast located adjacent to downtown Springfield and MSU. Charming atmosphere with spacious accommodations. The staff consider various needs as they even included ear plugs, which were a life saver as I wasn't aware that there was a game and fireworks shot off as part of it. The television was a bit tricky to figure out. Breakfast was included for an additional $20 fee, which I skipped but looked delicious. Overall a great experience.

I loved the old home. our room was spacious and beautiful. The home was set up beautifully as well. We were miserable, there was no getting to sleep, cars revving their engines all night. It is right on a 4 way stop, college kids cruising nonstop. The hotel even provided ear plugs on the night stand, no help. So sad this can't be in a quieter area.

We stayed at this property for one night. It's a very pleasant experience. It's 5 minutes walk to the destination we need to get to. It's cozy and clean. The breakfast is home made, warm and delicous. The shower water stream is not as strong as I like but it's not a big deal. Will return when I visit here next time.

When we arrived, they put my 70-year-old friend in another property to spend the night alone in the house by herself. We ask if we could be placed in the same house we were informed that would be an extra amount larger in addition to the original rate.We ended up leaving the next morning when we had booked two nights.

Such a great experience for a Victorian home/hotel! Walnut Street Inn is probably our favorite lodging of all the similar venues we have stayed at in the past. Courteous staff, tasty breakfast and beautiful old historical home. It is also very close to restaurants making it a very walkable lodging option. We highly recommend this place.

The property and staff were excellent. We stayed in the 2nd house in the Jordan room. The room and house were perfect. There is a college frat house next door, they were very loud and partying on their front porch until 4 a.m. The provided ear plugs didn't really block them out. We loved the room, staff, and excellent breakfast. A helpful tip would be if staying on the weekend stay in the main house instead of the 2nd house.
