Kind & pleasant staff, lounge areas lovely.lovely breakfast. unfortunately there was cement smeared all across the bedroom window which didn’t enhance the already depressing view.Also lamp shades were broken. Should be a warning that hot water is dangerously scalding.

On arrival i was originally given top floor room unfortunately lift was out of order and after explaining my knee issues i have the front of house staff member immediately swapped my room to a ground floor without any problems.

Average stay

Large room but floor looked like it needed eeplacing as it was uneven and uncomfortable walking on it bare footed. One of the chairs had a bent foot. The room was clean except for a couple of small stains on the bedsheet. There were stirrers instead of teaspoons and a couple of the milks were off. The bed was very comfortable untill you ised the pillows. My husband said his extremely thin pillows were solid and ended up sleeping with a hoodie under pillow to make it comfortable. My pillows were softer but not only thin but lumpy. We both woke with headaches. The room was clean and a bery good size. My welcome and check in was almost perfect. Friendly andwelcoming plus the car permit. It says on a sign to close doors quietly but it was impossible especially the one to the room it was so stiff. Overall it was alright but the room could do with a little attention.

Nice break in Eastbourne

Good price rooms clean furniture little dated, great location they give you a parking voucher for your stay but park in correct zone H. We had a breakfast which was very nice and excellently priced for full English

So many hotels in this area are of quite poor quality. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Da Vinci as it exceeded my expectations. They really have made an effort with the decor and the maintenance of the hotel which made it a very pleasant surprise for me. I will definitely return if in the area.
