Clean but no vanity in the bathroom to put your stuff on and I couldn’t fine the hair dryer. Also the pictures of the pool are deceiving. They show the spa pool on the website so that’s what I was expecting and instead the pool was geared more towards children. But overall ok

As someone who has worked in &built businesses in the hospitality industry, I understand very well what it takes to operate a successful hotel. Because of that, I do not write negative reviews lightly. Unfortunately, our recent stay was very disappointing. We booked one night to celebrate my birthday. Our room was only ready after 4 p.m., and we actually entered closer to 5 p.m. The next morning also happened to be the time change, so when we woke up it was already 10 a.m., with checkout at 11. I politely called the front desk to ask if we could stay until 12 noon, explaining that it was my birthday and that we had arrived late the day before. The response was extremely rigid. I was told that even staying an extra 30 minutes would result in a $50 charge. For a $400 one-night stay, the lack of any flexibility or consideration felt very disappointing, especially given the circumstances. What made this even more frustrating was that after we checked out exactly at 11, I informed a housekeeper in the hallway that we had left the room. She kindly told me not to worry and mentioned they likely would not even clean the room for another couple of hours. That moment made it clear that a simple one-hour courtesy extension could easily have been accommodated. This is not only about policy, but about humanity and hospitality. Sometimes special occasions deserve a small exception. Unfortunately, none was considered. I do want to acknowledge Josh at check-in, who was friendly &professional

Our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the view was gorgeous. My husband and I booked the Aquapath and had a very nice experience with our guide. We then went to the restaurant to have a delicious breakfast accompanied by live music. Everything about our experience was pleasant until we asked for a late checkout. We asked for an extra hour since we were at the spa and then had a reservation at the restaurant and would have liked to grab our things afterward. We spoke to the receptionist and she told us she was not authorized to allow any more late checkouts and that it was $50 for every half hour if we wanted to stay. I let her know we had just spent time in their spa and were eating at their restaurant and surely they would appreciate that we were supporting their hotel. I don’t think an extra hour is a big ask. Again, she repeated it was policy and that we had to pay extra. I asked to speak to the supervisor, but they conveniently were not to arrive until after 11 o’clock. So, we went up to our room, packed up our belongings and brought our bags downstairs before heading for breakfast. This was very disappointing and shocking. It left a poor taste in our mouths and we will not be back. Sorry to say.

The restaurant is wonderful. Besides that, this is not a 4 star facility. 2-3 star at best. Just has an end to end run down feeling. Damaged bathrooms, mouldy baseboards show clear water damage. Temperature control in room doesn't work properly. Turned to boiling heat in the middle of the night needing us to open the balcony door in the middle of January. Overall, not worth the pricetag at all.
