Welcomed by a sweet couple who were very attentive to any possible needs. The home and room are lovely, super clean, well kept and quiet. Our host, Clement, was a storehouse of information regarding the area, and fun to chat with as he is a wine maker and quite knowledgeable about the history of locally produced wines. We enjoyed a delightful two nights at this treasure of a B&B. Peaceful and quiet, surrounded by vineyards and is a working domaine vinicole where you can sample the lovely wines produced on the property. The helpful host taught us much about the local wines as well as wines from the larger Bordeaux region. We definitely want to come back!

BEAUTIFUL STAY IN BORDEAUX

We stayed in a beautiful furnished house in middle of the wineyards. The breakfast was fantastic - the hosts made us eggs brought us cheese and we got served croissants and bread with butter and 2 marmelade as much as we wanted. The wine tour was privat and they accomondated our schedule. Host are very very friendly and very helpful.

La Closerie was a wonderful get away in the Bordeaux countryside. The home was beautiful and well cared for. Our host was wonderful and very helpful, offering to provide us with dinner the night of our arrival so we did not have to go back out after seven hours of driving. We were also able to enjoy some of the estate bottled wine with our dinner.

We were perhaps expecting a lot, but upon arrival in the fairly cold and rainy day, we thought we'd cosy up next to a fire in the fireplace of the common area, with the complementary glass of wine that was advertized. But there was no woodfire, and no complimentary wine.
