Zwischenstop für zwei Nächte

Das Personal war sehr nett und auch bemüht alles Bedürfnisse zu erfüllen. Aber in jedem Zimmer war etwas defekt. Einige Dinge hätten schon längst und schnell erledigt sein können. Ich habe dann ein Upgrade bekommen, aber auch hier war z.B. der Lichtschalter defekt und ein Handtuch war mehr als dreckig.

Unpleasant experience

It was honestly not a good stay, We were on one of the ground floor rooms. First of all the parking in front of our room was occupied by someone. No clear markings for parking, Windor A/C was as loud as a truck engine. The shower was not showering basically, just the water Tap worked, which was inconvenient to bath. No facilities for drinking water. Upon complaining.

Not the best stay on vacation

Toilet has nit been cleaned in a while as there was a ring at water level. Lamps beside the bed have nit been dusted in a li g time. Fire alarm piece missing just wires hanging from ceiling. Room not illuminated good. Small parking lot near room had to park on other side of hotel. Toilet flushed poorly as water pressure is low and took multiple flushes to do what is supposed to happen never plugged just flushed small items every time.

Nice Place!!! - Nice Price!!!

Nice place to stay to hit several of the National Parks. It is very easy to get on and off the main highway and the lodge is very close to restaurants and the downtown portion of Golden. The price also was excellent. They serve no breakfast but my room had a microwave and a big refrig in it so I bought some food from the grocery store and had my breakfast in my room. You do hear some highway noise from the rooms but I had a white noise creator on my computer and that worked well in shutting down outside noise.

Poor Hotel, I booked room in Golden Village Lodge, but they gave us room at different location and rooms were so terrible there. Never recommend this hotel

Rooms are nothing like depicted on their website. Plain ordinary 2 star hotel room's. Had asked for main floor (mobility issues) with two queen beds. They tried to give me a room with 1 queen bed on second floor. Insisted that was all that was available. Told them they would have to carry my 240 pound wife up and down the stairs every time we went out. Suddenly there was a room available on main floor,

Hot water issue

There was no hot water when we came, so tried the next day but it’s only warm water for the first person who used the shower and when the 4th person used it it’s already cold water, no more hot water. There are some hair in the drawer where the blower stored.

Plumbing issues make this a poor choice

The rooms were comfortable and clean having been recently renovated. Unfortunately the soundproofing is not great between rooms, and the noise from the nearby highway is quite intrusive - although the glazing is good, the air conditioning units pass the sound through. With ear plugs, we got a good night sleep - the bed was very comfortable. The biggest issue, though, was the lack of hot water. Cold showers all round :-(
