Our family of 6 enjoyed Vessel Inn Fukuyama Station, It was a very convenient location for our Japan family members to come and visit us, too. I am especially thankful the location is next to the stunning Fukuyama Castle where we were able to visit and enjoyed the cool activities of a time when feudal lords ruled the land. Fukuyama Station is so wonderfully calm for the most part in comparison to the larger city train stations. The breakfast buffet was great! Thank you very much to the breakfast supervisor for your patience with us when we showed up with no breakfast ticket. He had to go check on the computer that we were legit patrons but he was very personable and forgiving!Everyone here was genuine and welcoming. This was our 2nd time here and we’ll be back for sure! Thank you again to all staff members at the Vessel Inn Fukuyama Station!!

Excellent location adjacent to train station. The staff at front counter were SUPER nice and friendly. Very helpful and accomodating. There is a lovely castle literally next door. The breakfast was easily the best I’ve had in a Japan business style hotel and was included in the room rate!! Only stayed one night, but would definitely stay again in the future!!

Clean and comfortable room. So glad I booked a room with castle view. We had the Superior Twin Room, 23m2. The view was just amazing! And we got to see the castle at different times of the day. The hotel offers welcome drinks. Not just standard drinks but hot chocolate, too! Thank you! The breakfast room also has view of the castle! So nice!! Buffet breakfast has standard items plus dishes using local ingredients (or famous local dishes?) For example, miso soup with pork and pumpkin, rice mixed with squid, Swiss roll with sweet potato, apple caramel cake and mochi with red bean. No other hotel we stayed in had these. Compliments to the chefs! On top of that, there was a Kyushu Food Festival on at the Fukuyama Castle grounds the weekend we were there. We got to experience that. So lucky. Joining in to do morning exercises before sunrise in front of the castle was another memorable experience!!

히로시마 공항 인/아웃이면서 구라시키, 오카야마, 오노미치를 하루씩 다니고 싶어서 교통 요지인 후쿠야마역 근처에 숙소를 잡게되었는데 역 근접, 깨끗하고 가성비좋은 호텔로 선택한 베셀 인은 정말 탁월한 선택이었습니다. 조식불포함 예약인데 조식을 매일 먹었을 정도로 가성비가 뛰어난 조식이었습니다. 일본 세토내해 가정식에 특식(참치)이 더해진^^ 역 북쪽 출구 도보 1분 거리라 매일 기차여행 너무 편했고 신칸센, 산요 본선 등 연결이 아주 원활한 여행거점지이자 후쿠야마성은 매일 볼수있고, 역앞 버스타고 토모노우라도 다녀왔습니다. 선스테를 이용해 땀 덜흘리고 역앞 맛집들도 매일 들렀습니다. 이동에 버리는 시간 없이 알차게 꽉채워 여행하고 호텔에서 제공하는 웰컴드링크와 레몬 배쓰밤으로 하루의 피로를 풀수 있었습니다. 편안히 잘 지내고 갑니다. 감사합니다.

여긴 위치가 다했음. 후쿠야마역 후문쪽(성쪽) 출입구에서 그냥 횡단보도 하나만 건너면 호텔임. 베개가 조금 불편한거 빼고는 직원분들도 친절하고, 시설도 깨끗함. JR세토우치 패스사서 후쿠야마 거점잡고, 신칸센여행 하기에 여기보다 좋은 호텔은 없음. 진짜 위치가 레알임.
