因為班機時間，在晚上11:30才抵達飯店，飯店門已經關起來，不容易找到。Check in需要透過對講機，第一次通話的時候，我們提供了訂房編號跟全名，服務人員找不到我們的資料於是就掛斷了，這讓我們感到非常的不舒服，我講出所有我訂房有關的資料，而對方找不到資料連一句話都沒說就掛斷了。我們已經提前透過飯店提供的系統輸入check in基本資料，在第二次通話的時候才發現，在飯店的資料上，我的surname變成了last name，女性變成男性，我確認過我在系統上輸入的資料無誤，或許因為這樣子的錯誤，使得服務人員找不到我的資料，讓我們在門外站了20分鐘後才進房。房間是樓中樓，床在樓上，雖然是開放空間，但是空調的風完全吹不到樓上，所以樓上非常的悶熱。這家飯店非常推薦給注重隱私的客人，從入住到退房，遇不太到人，早餐也是在房間裡面享用。

Lots of pluses but some things to be aware of

Positives: - Great staff: friendly, helpful, very responsive to requests - Location: Near main sites & places to eat - Comfort: good bed & pillows. AC worked well - Lighting: Good in the bathroom especially over the mirror (easy to apply makeup) - Good wifi - Nice shower: rain can & handheld - Thick bath robes - Full length mirror Negatives: - Location: while convenient for sight seeing it was hard to access the hotel for arrival & departure as the historic centre is closed to cars during part of the day & even when it is open there is no road directly to the hotel (must drag bags 20m over uneven cobblestones (harder to do than it sounds) - Breakfast: limited options & little change over several days. More fruit would be good - Lighting: while good in the bathroom it was extremely limited in our room - Room had a balcony but there was a plant at the access door & no chairs outside - our idea of having a drink on the balcony was not possible. - Safe: on a bottom shelf - hard to reach - Palazzo Maurelli: Slow elevator & stairs are metal mesh. If you have vertigo or are afraid of heights the stairs might be an issue - Palazzo Calo: Former guest terrace is now a restaurant so there is no area to sit outside (terrace on Palazzo Murelli is very small with 2 uncomfortable chairs so we did not use it - Bistro on the terrace: very small menu lacking a vegetarian option

La dolce vita

L’accueil a été parfait. Le lieu est super car dans la vielle ville donc pas besoin de marcher des heures pour découvrir le secteur. La chambre était top. Le petit déjeuner impeccable. Vraiment un super séjour. L’hôtel nous a conseillé un parking à moins de 10 min à un super tarif.

Great location to discover Bari!

The location is absolutely the best to be in Bari Vecchio. Close to everything that you want to see. Our room was in Palazzo Maurelli, a building right next to Palazzo Calò. Spacious, bright and antique but with all the modern comforts. Breakfast was good and service was great.

Alt var topp, men litt rar frokost « oppstilling» av maten - inn under et skråtak, der man må strekke seg over mye annen mat for å komme til. Virker uhygienisk, bagatell sikkert , men manglet kaffe og kom heller aldri på forespørsel. Skulle ønsket frokost kunne blitt servert på takterrassen- virket trangt og innestengt i frokost rommet.

Great staff

Location is great; unbeatable at the Centro Storico and steps of the main street Vittorio Emanuelle and from the bay and from the fashion street in downtown. The Palazzo Maurelli is a building with two comfy and spacious rooms and lift; very quiet and with terrace. We enjoyed very much our stay and the hotel team handle our transfers to Lecce and to the Airport. Amazing customer service. We are very thankful of them!!

It was super fun to stay in the old town in Bari- walkable to so many great shops and restaurants on the sea. It's kind of amazing how this old historic place was retrofitted to be made into a modern hotel. While we were there the air conditioning went out in our room and it was super hot. The bed wasn't great and there were lots of stairs. We did feel like the hotel had great service and a nice breakfast. If you want the old world experience- this is for you. If you are looking for a 5 star resort- this is not it.
