Nice place

The pool looked good for swimming (but we didn't). Went with a girlfriend and got a nice corner room with 2 beds. The room was warm initially but the AC cooled it down quick. The bathroom looked like it was freshly laminated with tile. My girlfriend is willing to stay there again (and she's really picky). The breakfast was nice - eggs, waffles, cereal. They did use hard small soap instead of dispensers and the towels are a bit scratchy (but that exfoliates!). The water seemed a bit hard (couldn't suds up well with body wash & shampoo) and the shower head was calcified. Bring your wall charger for charging your phone.

Great Motel, modest priced older hotel that is being refurbished, service and friendly staff were excellent. Close to South Llano State Park. Excellent for Birders.

One star off because there were NO handrails in the bathroom, not even in the shower. It is a step down shower stall, no railings, no shelves, slippery and have to bend to the floor for your toiletries without a handrail to get in or out or move in the shower. This violates ADA rules for accessibility. One star off because the toilet was not working properly. It would loudly run and squeak every time it was flushed, and required turning the whole system off from the wall and then twisting back on for the toilet tank to fill and stop. Disappointing there was no way to use a fire stick on the TV for streaming. No way to change the input. Room was nice and clean. Staff was good. Seeing it was on Main Street in Junction we were worried it would be in the dangerous area. But it was far down enough that we felt safe.

This place is a hidden gem. Super clean and really inexpensive. You can tell they did some remodeling and its super nice for a small hotel. The rooms have either a walk in shower or a soaking tub. We requested the walk in shower and were very happy. There were a couple maintenance issues. The door to the closet and the entrance door were kind of sticking so you had to close kind of hard and i felt the shower could have been hotter. All in all its a great little place and we will be staying again for sure. Great for weekend getaways and enjoying the river and state park.
