The building looks a bit tired but the room was big and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Decent location, well connected with public transport, a few touristy restaurants nearby, several cafes and supermarkets around the corner. Check-in was a bit slow. Check-out was easy and could leave my bag to collect later. Staff were friendly enough. I didn’t opt for the breakfast. In general good value for the money.

Nice hotel for spending 5 days in Berlin

We spent 5 days at this hotel, 2 parents, 2 grown up kids (use 2 hotel rooms). Very nice room. Very good locations, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Parking is possible (but parking was a challenge due to the narrow space). Buses a trains within walking distance. So all in all a very nice place to stay!

The good: I really like the location. The room was a really nice size, clean and comfortable. I asked for extra pillows and received them. The not so good: The heating could not be controlled, it was way too hot. I was greeted once on entering the hotel. Even when the desk was not busy there was no salutation and the staff there came across as unwelcoming. Slow check out. I contacted the hotel for an earlier check in before I went but nobody got back to me. My flight was early and they stood by the 3 pm time even though others arrived after me and got checked in. I waited from 10:30 until 3. A smile would have been great.

Hotel at all was good. The room was little but clean. Breakfast buffet was very good for the price. But originally we we booked the hotel for the spa and gym. But the gym equipment wasn’t working well. The massage treatments are very expensive. And the sauna was to complicate to get.

The room is ok, even it would need some renovation, but the service in this place is not good. It took 20 minutes to find my Hotels(dot)com reservation that I had totally paid beforehand. And they got me feel that it is my mistake. This is the first time ever when I had a problem with Hotels' service booking. Then the key card didn't work and the guy in the reception behaved like I cannot use it. And some more issues... The location is good, the building is ok, but they would need people who know something about customer service and maybe also more reliable IT system.

Don‘t miss the breakfast!

Staying here already several times. The standard room is good, offers enough space and offers the necessary items for a comfortable stay(safety box, small ref, water heater…). Absolutely good standard comparable with other 4 star hotels. What makes the big difference is the fantastic breakfast provided. Staying in many hotels of this glass around Europe I know what I am talking about. The selection is very big, offering everything- from sparkling wine (which I don‘t consume) to big choice of bread, cereals, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and, and, and… Don‘t miss it, it’s definitely the deciding benefit to choose this hotel in Berlin. The place right on the major shopping street Ku‘Damm is also a big advantage.

Very good place to stay, marvelous breakfast

After several comments on past visits in German, now a comment in English: we already stayed several times in this hotel in the center of the western part of Berlin. We are coming back here always because the overall product is convincing. The rooms are named after movie artists and provide everything expected in a 4 star hotel. The rooms are furnished accordingly, the beds are back-friendly, our premium room provides us also with a bathtub and the free wifi is fast enough. Not to forget is the very good breakfast provided and you should not miss it as it offers a big choice not usually found in other hotels of this category. The prices are reasonable, the staff helpful and friendly. All-in-all a absolutely recommendable hotel!
