Absolutely the best hotel we could have gone to. A short walk away from the beach. Right on tye High Street with all tye shops nearby. All the best restaurants at your doorstep. Delicious breakfast with so much choice thats included. 24hrs reception, with staff that are friendly, helpful and always welcoming and local experts that can recommend the best of everything. They even offered to hold our luggage after check out because our train was 5 hrs away from departure. We fell in love with Brighton and we'll definitely go back yearly and we'll for sure never stay anywhere else other than The Mitre Hotel. Thank you to all the great staff who contributed to our stay being memorable

Stay was good. Bed could have been comfier with no extra pillows. The fan wasn’t working so we asked the staff at the desk and he got it sorted quickly with good communication. We also asked for additional cutlery which was delivered to our room too. Breakfast was good with veg options also provided when asked for. overall stay was great with lovely staff!

Breakfast had bad selection. No ham, cheese or sliced fruit. No hairdryer in the room. Door cards were not working. Had to be reset 5 times during our two days stay. Hotel named Britannia Study when booking, no signs carrying that name at the front door.

Staff were good however the rooms had no air con so it was boiling all we had was a small fan which didn’t do anything. Beds were uncomfortable both me and my partner woke up with bad backs due to it and the tv had someone talking over it telling you what was happening and we could not remove that. Breakfast was ok considering it was free but the coffee came out cold they ran out of things quickly and wasn’t keeping on top of restocking the things they could restock there also wasn’t much variety there

Clean, great value to be fair and friendly staff, with breakfast. Quiet and in a banging location... Good to check around as prices can differ...I got a fantastic price through Trivago And yes they do have a small percentage of people going through a tough time staying so if your not too snobby.. it's a winner for me , on a budget at the moment.
