An excellent location a stones throw from KX. Contact free check in was excellent. Nice touches like personal messages ahead of arrival, and a gift from F&M, free drinks in a fridge and even handmade sandwich in the room. Pot of tea brought in the morning too (although no cups to drink it from which was pointed out to the friendly staff!) Room well appointed with plugs and iron etc, clearly designed by people who stay away regularly. Cannot fault this stay, added bonus of a friendly dog to greet me on arrival!

Handy location for Kings Cross . Lovely hotel with lots of personal touches . I asked for early check in which was not guarenteed but they messaged me as soon as my room was ready . The room was compact but everything I needed and was only me . The tea tray in the morning was a lovely idea but I didn’t realise until I had to leave for my meeting . Might be worth telling people . The sandwich in the room was also lovely but I am GF so sadly couldn’t eat it .

The rooms are in a great location only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross station in a quiet residential area. The room is compact, but well furnished and very comfortable. The staff are terrific - very prompt and considerate. There are a number of really nice small touches that make a big impact - breakfast trolley, drinks in the fridge, extra pillows. Mathis was a grea place to stay

Really clean rooms. Small, but such a great location and price for that area. Easy walking distance to tube and Eurostar trains. Loved the easy proximity to food and pubs as well. Lovely welcome sandwich and snacks provided at the hotel was just icing on top of the cake. Definitely recommend The Rokxy Townhouse.

It was quite the tiniest room I’ve stayed in but perfect for the solo traveller. And staff were exceptional. Greeted me for a bag drop off, left my bags ready for me when I got to the room along with a lovely, thoughtful welcome gift. And a tea trolley outside my door in the morning. Great location.
