The elevator didn’t work several times and we were either trapped in our rooms, floors 11 and 17, or unable to get to them,causing us delays and not being able to change one night for a play.

DO NOT GET A ROOM WITH THE 2nd "BED." This is not a single bed. It's a styrofoam tiny foldout with a cross-bar. It's really awful. Other than that, my stay was ok.

This hotel offers not a single gesture of well bring or a luxury feel that you get from nice city center hotels. the light in the room and bathroom is a white hospital light . the bathrooms are so boring - like a motel 6. so is the other furniture. Coffee machine from the cheapest kind. it's all just so uninspiring.

I don't know where this lobby photo was taken, but it surely is not anywhere on this property. The lobby is very small and cramped. Exhausted customers were draped over every piece of furniture waiting to check in to their rooms. We had a debacle with check in that cost a member of our party $175 to check in since the reservation was not in her name. This despite multiple messages to the hotel providing her name and requesting that she have access to the room. A room reserved for three adults, with a kitchenette, did not provide enough coffee mugs, glasses, linens or hangers. The furniture looked like it had been picked up off street corners. The location was great for a quick walk to the #6 subway. We were busy tourists and didn't spend much time in our room, in part because it just wasn't comfortable. Oh, and a mystery $30 per night "service charge" was added at check in. What service?

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid If You Need Basic Services Like WiFi I stayed at this hotel for a week and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. The biggest issue was that there was no WiFi the entire time, despite it being advertised. We complained every single day to at least five different staff members at the front desk. Each one was indifferent and claimed there was nothing they could do. By the fourth day, we found out they hadn’t even contacted the internet provider — there was zero effort to resolve the issue. We were promised compensation and told the manager (Joanna) would meet us. She never showed up until we insisted on the last day. Even then, she made us wait a long time and only came down reluctantly. She said she was waiting on her bosses for approval and would email us by the end of the day — but, unsurprisingly, that never happened. Other issues: - No lock on our room door (completely broken) - Very weak water pressure - One day, the elevator broke, and we had to climb 17 flights of stairs The WiFi issue was the most unacceptable, though. In today’s world, a hotel without working WiFi — and with staff who don’t care to fix it — is simply not acceptable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service and basic amenities not functioning.

32/32 is solid choice for midtown, if not special in any way. The location is very convenient to the 6 subway line, and Penn Station is just a few blocks away. Staff were very welcoming. My room was decent sized for Manhattan, though I was not given the studio I had booked, and the balcony was too tiny to be usable, plus it looked out on a dreary stairwell. The rooms would benefit from some updating as well.

Web photos deceiving. 1st night room was very noisy with some shrieking mechanical noise of an alley trash compactor going on until 3am. Changed rooms to a quieter place with a large balcony. Still, ceiling in the bathroom was fallimg apart and needed new drywall. Toilet was not fully attached to the floor. Black scuff marks all over the bedroom wall.

Hotel 32 32 is a perfect, no nonsense place to stay for a few days in NYC. It's near Park Ave, close to a subway station and there are plenty of places to grab a snack or light bite. It's great for those on a budget and looking for a safe place to stay with few frills. They have coffee and tea in the room for no charge and some well priced snacks in case you get a snack attack. The stay was super friendly and very helpful. In my short stay I think I met 4 or 5 staff. All kind, offered suggestions and willing to have conversations.

I really love the overall vibe and location; they’re hard to beat for the price. I only had one complaint regarding the room walls and floor being dirty, as in scuffed with hand prints and boot prints. Recent renovations, maybe? Loved the experience and friendly staff, and will very likely stay with them again in future.

HONEST & FAIR review (many of the reviews must be fake). This is NOT what one normally considers “4 star hotel.” It is 2 narrow converted apartment buildings across the street from each other (each with 2-3 rooms on each floor). The rooms are clean, nice and spacious for the price. Bed is comfortable. Excellent location…except quite noisy (not good soundproofing) until downstairs music venue and crowds go home at 12am. It’s an excellent BUDGET “aparthotel.” If I knew that it was like a 2.5 star place, I would have been satisfied for the price. But I booked 2 rooms - one for a friend, so I was HUGELY embarrassed that it was so “humble.” Reading the fake reviews saying “luxury” is what made me so mad about false advertising. Nothing luxurious. Doesn’t look or feel like a hotel. Learned my lesson hard - nowadays, you must sort reviews by “lowest ratings” to get honest, real info.

i found glass on the floor next to night stand. I told the front desk...nothing as cleaned up! never replenished coffee! i had to ask and they handed it to me. Ice machine is on the roof. Had to find that out myself. trash was there the entire stay. Hot water was a plus
