The hotel was excellent and we liked the fact that it’s in the middle of the redwood national park and that one of its charms is that there’s not much “cilivization” around. With that, visitors should plan meals accordingly, that there’s no restaurant open after 8 pm and you also do not have a lot of choices. We learned that on our first day and it was not a problem after that. The hotel itself was clean and updated, and breakfast was excellent, it’s a good thing they offered breakfast because we wouldn’t know what to do in terms of food and coffee if they didn’t. Our only concern was that on day 2, the housekeeping staff only made the bed. He/she did not clean the bathroom or the tables, we did not get fresh towels either. It was exactly how we left it. On day one the housekeeping was more thorough. Aside from that everything was good and we would stay there again if we return
