Short and enjoyable vacation in SXM

My son and I had a fantastic stay at Baker's Suite. It felt like a home away from home. I particularly loved where there was a small clean kitchenette with pots, plates, cups and cutlery for cooking dishes. The most important was the exemplary customer service received from receptionist Latoya! This place is a stroll from a nice cafe for breakfast opposite Buccaneers' restaurant and there is Green House Restaurant. What would have made this stay undisputedly the best would be a working elevator, as it was a bit exhaustive to climb two flights of stairs every time multiple times per day. Once that is up and running then everything would be perfect for future traveler's stay.

Walking distance!!

They need to improve the bed comfort and repair the elevator. This the only thing, all other was so great!! Many bar's and restaurants walking distance. The beach is just in front, a few steps from the property. The staff was so great!!

It was ok...Latoya and Cristena made it memorable for me. Latoya is bubbly and a joy to be around. Cristena is friendly and made my birthday stay lovely.

Good Value!

Baker’s Suites offers a good value for the price. Shanay and LaToya provided great customer service at the front desk. Ms. Christena was super friendly and did an excellent job keeping our room neat and clean! Our room was welcoming and had the essentials to make our stay an awesome one. I highly recommend selecting the breakfast package! The breakfast provided was delicious.

My choice in choosing a property comes down to the location. Is it walkable to dining and sites, what other reviewers are currently saying about the property and is it locally owned. I chose Baker’s Suites over all the other hotels in the area for simply those reasons. My front desk ladies, Ms. Latoya you were AWESOME our entire time there and you represent Baker’s Suites on another level. Ms. Shanay, your kindness towards each and every guest was nothing short of impeccable customer service. We stayed in the partial oceanview room with King bed and the room did not disappoint. Restaurants in short walking distance of the hotel, beach right across the street which I enjoyed the clear calm waters every single morning of my trip(no crowds).

The location is super good, you have a beach less that 50 m away. I recommend renting a car so you can go to other beaches and meet the both parts of the island. Latoya was amazing at the front desk and the housekeeper too. The rooms are big and you even have a kitchen. There is a little market next the hotel and a lot of restaurants that you can walk and also go in car.
