The basic necessities were covered during my stay: roof over my head, soft warm bed, fluffy pillows, the air conditioning worked great and the shower water was hot immediately and stayed hot.
My biggest issue was the musty, moldy smell of the room. It was really bad. But I was too tired to ask for a different room. Also, typical with a cheap motel like this, the towels were thin and grainy. However, the bed linens were fine. No shampoo or conditioner, just the tiny Motel 6 brand soaps.
The service at this motel was very good. Very courteous always available behind the desk. The surroundings are a bit sketchy; didn't feel super safe, but never felt unsafe either. The gas station and coffee shop right next door were a great feature. Super close to the freeway.
Basically, you get what you pay for. And I would recommend this place if you are trying to save money.
