When we checked in we were told the room keys were not working for the entire property. The manager had to let everyone in to their rooms. When we were in our room we saw there was a water leak from the drain pipe under the bathroom sink. There was a trash can to catch the leaking water. The key problem was later corrected.

The air conditioning worked great. Robert at front desk was terrific. Property is sketchy. You get what you pay for, there's a reason the rooms are cheap. When choosing non-smoking you may not actually get that, triple check. We checked in to our "non-smoking" room and it smelled like someone had just left the room after smoking, front desk was so generous and let us check another room which smelled much better!!

Kiosk check-in was very difficult and took a long time. Eventually had to go through the process with a human at the front desk because the machine was not functioning. In the room, the drain under sink was not even connected so water drained all over the bathroom floor.

While the room, the bed, and the bathroom were clean, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. The microwave blew an i ternal circuit breaker the second I hit the start button, and reset itself about 90 minutes later. There was so much sticky buildup on the refrigerator door that opening it took two hands. There is no front desk staff. You check in and check out via a kiosk that connects you to some guy in a call center that seems to be somewhere off shore. The check in process was slow, and the kiosk wasn't able to print out information for the room, so the guy printed it out on his end, and had me take a picture of the information with my phone. Also, no elevators available at the hotel, and all the non-smoking rooms are on the second floor.

During my recent stay at the Motel 6 in Prescott, AZ, I encountered conditions that were completely unacceptable for any paid lodging. The room had visible cockroaches. Mold was present, and surfaces throughout the room were dirty and had clearly not been properly cleaned. The overall property was poorly maintained — it showed a consistent lack of upkeep that goes beyond a one-time oversight. When I brought these issues to the attention of staff, they were unhelpful and unresponsive. There was no meaningful effort made to address the concerns or offer any resolution. I would not recommend this property to anyone. If cleanliness and basic maintenance are the minimum standard for a hotel stay — and they should be — this location fails to meet it. Stay elsewhere.

The room I was provided had no working outlets, the tv did not work and nothing was done about it. I was also bit by bugs on my chest and upper back. I have red bites that go in a straight line that are consistent with bed bug bites. A refund would be appropriate.
