My stay for one night was ok. Our AC was weak and didn’t blow out cold air. We were not offered house keeping. When I originally booked this room, the picture showed me two beds. I came to the room with one bed, highly disappointed.

The breakfast was great and head of kitchen accommodating Only suggestion is room attention- to mold grouting in bath and towel rack in shower area was all rusted -simple fix goes a long way to feeling clean and updated. Our stay was pleasant and so close to metro.

Parking was terrible. Struggled to find it (behind hotel) waited 30+ minutes for valet, had to circle block multiple times bc there wasn’t anywhere to wait. Neighborhood didn’t seem safe, sirens every hour all night long. Cost $65+ tax! AC didn’t work right. Beds were hard. Breakfast was barely warm. I would recommend staying a little further out of the city & using public transportation.

I appreciated a slightly earlier check in and them keeping our bags for the day until we could get a room. The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. Our a/c broke on night 1, though, and we were told they would get it fixed. They gave us a fan to get through the night but when we got back to our room later that day it was 89 degrees. My husband finally went down and got a maintenance man who was able to fix it for us so we could get one good nights sleep. Overall it was a good hotel but a/c is important in DC in the summer so that was frustrating to not have for over half our stay. Also could use some better pillows and the free breakfast was convenient and nice but not the best. But it was free. Also, there is no parking so you do have to pay $65/night for valet.

We arrived in the evening, and check-in time was at four. The front desk staff was very accommodating. Valet parking was convenient but cost $76 per night. The room was clean and well-stocked, but when we needed to use the sofa bed, there were no linens provided. We were informed that we had to pick them up from the front desk since housekeeping was closed. Unfortunately, there were no extra pillows, so we had to share what we had. The sound machine was a thoughtful addition to help drown out the traffic noise from New York Ave. Only the ice machine on the 12th floor was functional. We missed happy hour, which ran from 4-7 pm. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The location was convenient, and we felt safe going out at night.

(google traslate):The check-in open to everyone only at 4pm was extremely slow as there were more than 10 people in line and only one person on duty and it required over 30 minutes of waiting. Arriving in the room, a beautiful spacious room with a view and a nice clean bathroom, I immediately noticed that the sheets on the bed were not ironed and therefore all crumpled, as if they had been used for days. Having to deposit money and documents I programmed the safe was broken also due to the lack of the "closed" button and at 5.20pm I returned to the reception reporting the problem. The lady on duty called requesting the intervention of a technician and invited me to return to the room to wait for the intervention. At 7.15pm, as no one came I returned to the reception explaining that I had an appointment for dinner in the centre for 8.15pm and I needed a safe. The lady called the technician who, this time, showed up within 5 minutes but the intervention took over 40 to restore the safe with the consequence that I arrived at the dinner appointment 45 minutes late. Finally, on Monday morning, I left the room at 10:30 to go sightseeing and returned at 16:00 to find that the cleaning service had not yet come and therefore the room remained like that because I went to bed to rest after walking for hours. No one apologized for the inconvenience suffered! The Hotel ultimately needs a more competent and active management and more persons of service.

I won't be staying there again. The room and shower was not very clean . They don't explain to you that your deposit won't clear for 3 to 4 business days. It's NOT necessary to pay $75 for their valet parking. I found street parking easily

I should have taken photos. We had a room for 6, two queen beds and a pull out couch. There was no bedding or pillows for the couch, when requested I had to get them myself, but there weren’t even 3 pillows available, (needed 2 but I like to have xtra) the pillows were so old, blankets torn, stained, I won’t mention the mattress, I should have slept on the floor to be honest, I should have requested a refund or even a different room but when you’re traveling with kids like we were, it can be a little troublesome. I want to also mention that we got locked in the bathroom several times the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and when you did close it and attempt to lock it, you would get trapped inside because you couldn’t unlock it the inside of the bathroom door did not have any door knob. The engineer came to the room and we asked and he said they were out of parts to fix the door. The hotel was definitely outdated. Wallpaper was peeling. You could tell there were holes that had been patched. The furniture was stained, torn and old. Just an FYI, there is no real bar or restaurant at this hotel as it is listed. And the pool itself is was closed, but we did see it and it was super tiny. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, for the price there are plenty of other decent places around I’m sure.
