Room is from the 50s, so has a nice old feel with modern comforts, only problem is it feels like it hasnt been cleaned since the 50s too. Breakfast was ok nice fresh bread and juices and yoghurts not too much choice but totally ok.

Stay at Motell vätterleden

Our stay was average overall. Rooms were nice. But ventilation was poor. Just a small standing fan isn’t enough for summers. Cleanliness was 6/10. Saw dust on the tables in room. Washrooms were good and clean. There were no much options for breakfast. Nothing much. So it will be 2/10 for breakfast for me. Stay here is not worth the charges they are taking. It was overall fine.

Ett bra och rent rum fick vi och tyst och skönt på natten. Att påstå att dom har en restaurang är ett skämt. Tre unga herrar som inte hade en aning om hur man lagar mat eller vad det finns för drycker. En brick-sylta är ingen restaurang så ändra er information tack. Hyfsat bra frukost i alla fall. Inget motell jag kommer att rekommendera till någon.

Härlig rum som hade allt man behövde dock var svårt att hitta då lägenheterna ligger en bit ifrån själva receptionen men fick en tydlig karta vart man åker för att hitta. Frukosten var godkänt desvärre ingen god kaffe smakade gammalt vid den morgonen. Annars rekommenderar jag stället

Vätterleden är ett lite gammaldags motell beläget på en höjd ovanför E4. Rummen är för sig själva en bit ovanför bensinstationen, där man äter frukost och kanske även middag. På sommaren är promenaden ner skön, på vintern lite mindre behaglig. Rummen har 60-talsprägel men är modernt inredda (fast det vore bra med kylskåp också). Tyst, bra sängar, utmärkt toalett med verkligt bra duschkabin, bra wi-fi, gratis parkering utanför dörren. Hiss till andra våningen om man inte vill gå i trappan. Vi tar gärna in här när vi är på resa söderut eller tillbaka - det blir en övernattning när man är ungefär halvvägs till Skåne och Halland. Brukar tanka Preems diesel, så även macken passar bra på resan. E4 är en väldigt tröttsam väg för en nästan 80-åring.
