I stayed two weeks while my brother was severely ill. I was happy to have a bed near the UMC. When I was exhausted and needed a break I could in the cool room with outlet and USB chargers in every bunk to keep my devices charged. They even washed my clothes for a small fee.

Sketchy, rundown area and so is the property. The staff and people are nice and my room was clean. They give you linen to make your own bed and it was impossible for me to do with a wall on every side except the foot of the bed. I spent less on my room than I did for a single drink when I went out, so it’s a good deal considering the price

Served its purpose for what I needed it for. The staff were great - Rome was the most lovely person who was really helpful. I had to change rooms for the second night - not sure why but it was quite inconvenient as I got back at 10pm after a tour. The beds are fine - comfortable enough but quite noisy. the curtains were great, blocked out most of the light which was helpful. The vibe inside the hostel was really nice, the courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. The area isn't great, didn't feel totally comfortable most of the time. Overall satisfied, definitely worth it for the price.
