Terrible customer service

We left a wallet in the room. I called the desk to go look for it and they came back 30 minutes later and said it wasn't there. Then a few hours later, someone else called and said the cleaner found a wallet on the TV. So the front desk person never went to look and lied. Then I asked to have them mail it to me and I would pay for shipping but they wouldn't do it. I had to drive 2 hours to go pick it up. Terrible customer service!

It was okay for the price we paid. Great location. Clean enough, but dusty on the less used surfaces. We had to park on the road, there were not enough spaces. Shoveling was not a priority. Breakfast was bad. Coffee had to be heated up in microwave. No cute firepit area on a cold night like the description claims. If you just want a pillow to lay your hed on, this is your hotel in town.

Good value for Ellicotville, this is our go to hotel for early morning ski races. Warm, clean, parking can be limited, snow removal on pathways could be improved, also providing breakfast starting at 7 instead of 8.

good for short period

simple accommodation for the need of logding. location is very good. Hotel bit run down and furniture make noise but again, good for short period. Fridge and coffee maker in the room is great. Parking possible for free, Breakfast very basic.

OK place for a ski trip to Holiday Valley

Stayed there multiple times to ski Holiday Valley. Rooms are clean and the place is quiet but the water pressure in the shower is not great and the mattresses have seen better days. As for the free continental breakfast, it's on the light side (bagels, muffins, cereal, that's it) so expect to have to refuel on the slopes by lunchtime. Still, if you just need a place to crash on a ski trip at a reasonable price, you found it.

Plan for Traffic

Be careful when you book. The time window for check in is precise. We got in traffic and were delayed about an hour from our planned arrival. When I called to let the lodge know, they said if I didn't get there in the check-in window then I would not have a room. Was traveling over 5 hours. By the grace of God and some speeding we just made it. We were then greeted with the fact that we were the last guest to arrive. The location is perfect for those skiing at Holiday Valley, which we were, the room we stayed in was mediocre (lots of potential, they just haven't updated anything). The heater was very loud, but worked well. There was not enough parking, since we were the last to arrive, we parked on the street. If you book, just give yourself lots of time to arrive when they want you too. For what we stayed in, price was also a little high for the accommodations and definitely for the lack of customer service we received.

Good vale and convenient.

Good value for the money. Close to downtown, walking distance. Heater unit very noisy, had to turn off to sleep, was told all were like that (bs) shower control handle snapped off in hand had to reattach.

The hotel needs maintenance and repair. It is very conveniently located though which makes it a great place. It is close to restaurants, bars, and ski areas it is easy to walk around town from the hotel.

Nasty smelling danger hotel. I asked if anything could be done about the smell. "It's just gonna smell" is what the desk person said and then hung up on me. Stairs should have been condemned. Massive icicles falling around us. Couldn't sleep in the stink and left early.
