Although situated in an ideal spot for seeing Dublin, the Inn could not cope with the warm weather. We tried a variety of permutations to lower the room temperature below 30 without success. It was just about tolerable in the hour or two after dawn, but justg after 7 AM the pneumatic drills and metal saws commenced outside. To add to the misery, feral pigeons cooed 24/7 and herring gulls added to the cacophany, even during the hours of darkness. We were provided with a fan, but this didn't help. The Staff listened to our complaints and interjected with sympathetic words, but this was a nightmare never to be repeated.
