Great location, terrible communication
We checked in on Thursday night and paid for the room in full for a Thurs-Sun stay. Our paperwork mayched the price quoted by Hotels.com. The next morning we got call from the front desk asking us why our stuff was still in our room. They said we were only there for one night. I explained that we booked for 3 nights, were charged and had the confirmation. They were on the rude side saying that "Expedia only had us for one night". I kindly explained that we booked with Hotels.com not Expedia and that all confirmations, including the one at check in said 3 nights. They hung up.the phone then 10 mins later an additional 500.00 charge hit my credit card. I called and asked for the manager to call me, they never did. On Saturday I asked for the charge to be removed and they said "it would fall off on its own in 10 days". I again asked for the manager but he wasnt in. On Sunday at checkout they called the manager on his cell and he told me "there was nothing they could do and sorry someone didn't tell you sooner". So $1,200.00 worth of space is being consumed on my credit card without explanation as to why. I stay all over the world and have never had this happen. We fortunately have a high balance credit card, but for those who dont, beware.
