This hotel has mainly kept it's original turn of the century interior and exterior appearance and has not been ruined by modern cheap makeovers. There is a sense of nostalgia, tradition, quality and 1920s English upper class, a place where Poirot would stay, if Agatha Christie has known about it. The breakfast was plentiful, there were varied evening meal menus, which were fine and there was also complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar. The staff were really hospitable, the other guests were very polite, the dogs were friendly (a dog friendly hotel), The hotel has it's own gardens which are beautiful and if that is not enough, the hotel is opposite Blenheim Gardens park. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and the "Old Ship Aground"

A great hotel. Very cosy as you walk in and a warm welcome. We had a family room. The beds were very comfortable andy daughter was delighted by the bunk beds! Great having bath and shower option.
