The front desk was very accommodating in letting me leave my bags at the desk since I arrived off the plane before I could check in, and then I explored Christchurch on foot. The room was spacious and well laid out with a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, and dishes. The only thing is that the motel is next to a busy street so it was a bit noisy, but the street calmed down during the night.

Room looked clean and tidy when entering the room but after looking around it did need a bit of a deep clean. Skirting boards and bathroom fan especially. Room had everything we needed but was nosy at times with road noise and planes. Staff were amazing and helpful. This is a great location to stay with being in the middle of everything. As always, staying at Motel 123 is a pleasant experience. We arrived after midnight and our room was ready for us as arranged with reception. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We will stay again.
