The staff was very nice and courteous.It's an older building , but it's very clean and the lobby is very cozy looking. The breakfast was superb with many choices with fresh fruits and cooked foods like real scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. It's very convenient and close to the airport with no plane noise.

It is a simple but clean hotel with a Great staff. Has lots of cute features, like the sitting area in the lobby with beer and wine offered and a charming 2nd floor breakfast area. We were here for just one night while on a layover and it is perfect for that or just to stay more economically than downtown Reykjavik.

We had a comfortable night’s sleep and breakfast was good but they didn’t have a hot tub like we had read for their facility and there isn’t an airport shuttle. No TV in room, no restaurant near by, We walked 15 minutes to a coffee shop and later in the evening 20 to restaurants. Expect to pay $40 USD one way from this hotel to the KEF airport.

While this hotel didn’t look like much from the outside, the lobby was super cute and had a nice ambiance for an evening drink. The rooms were clean and had been redone. The staff made check-in easy and she went above and beyond for our stay accommodating a third person (my second daughter) and offering to make us breakfast to go when she found out our flight was so early. Also, location is prime to return the rental car and get back to the airport.

Does not look much from outside and area is an old army base under redevelopment. Nothing around but easy car ride to airport. Quadruple room for family was a plus. Front desk staff was really helpful. Room was basic and could do with refurb but ok for 1 night.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. We had an overnight layover so we are pretty much just looking for a place to sleep and it served that purpose. The taxi ride is expensive for the hotel being so close to the airport and we walked to a food hall where the food was good, but also very expensive.

Hotel very expensive for its quality. If I would have paid two time less, I would have found still expensive. It would be 2 stars max in continental Europe. Room is so so and the shower was not working. Breakfast was cheap quality and several items were missing at 9:30. It’s closed but not that close to the airport. You still need to take a taxi (5000ISK). Only positive point of this hotel is the friendly reception staff.
