While this hotel didn’t look like much from the outside, the lobby was super cute and had a nice ambiance for an evening drink. The rooms were clean and had been redone. The staff made check-in easy and she went above and beyond for our stay accommodating a third person (my second daughter) and offering to make us breakfast to go when she found out our flight was so early. Also, location is prime to return the rental car and get back to the airport.

It is a simple but clean hotel with a Great staff. Has lots of cute features, like the sitting area in the lobby with beer and wine offered and a charming 2nd floor breakfast area. We were here for just one night while on a layover and it is perfect for that or just to stay more economically than downtown Reykjavik.

Hotel very expensive for its quality. If I would have paid two time less, I would have found still expensive. It would be 2 stars max in continental Europe. Room is so so and the shower was not working. Breakfast was cheap quality and several items were missing at 9:30. It’s closed but not that close to the airport. You still need to take a taxi (5000ISK). Only positive point of this hotel is the friendly reception staff.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. We had an overnight layover so we are pretty much just looking for a place to sleep and it served that purpose. The taxi ride is expensive for the hotel being so close to the airport and we walked to a food hall where the food was good, but also very expensive.

Does not look much from outside and area is an old army base under redevelopment. Nothing around but easy car ride to airport. Quadruple room for family was a plus. Front desk staff was really helpful. Room was basic and could do with refurb but ok for 1 night.

I would not recommend this hotel for women travelers. The young lady staff member was extremely nice, but the location of the hotel felt unsafe and did not get a comfortable feeling. we asked to see the room and was given a actual key for a door that only had a door knob lock. There was no tv in the room as advertised either. This did not feel safe so we actually did not stay here. We also asked for a taxi and when the taxi driver arrived he knew our room number we would have stayed in. Wasn’t comfortable with that at all. Taxi drivers should not know what room a person is or was staying in. Again the young lady staff was friendly but would never recommend this hotel.
