Disappointing

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable, barely got any sleep. Woke up and could barely get out of bed. Room had a window ac and a portable space heater, functional but not practical. And hot water took about 6-7 minutes to get a hot shower. Also got an email the day before saying parking was for compact vehicles only. No trucks/vans allowed to park in a lot that’s a few buildings away from hotel.

we arrived and no one was at desk, so we paid for parking across the street .went back some one finally check us in and told us were to drive to and park the car,the place was clean but old.

On the positive the Hotel was centrally located to the activities and the beach was directly across the street. The owner was courteous.The bed was nice and firm and the room was clean except for mold on the shower curtain. On the negative side the room did not have a curtain hanging on the curtain rod and ended up using the bed spread to keep the outside light out. There were no instructions on how to turn on the air conditioner so ended up opening the window and could hear street noise. Also someone unplugged the direct TV box so it took 20 minutes to figure out what was wrong and get the TV going. Checkout was 10:30 AM a bit earlier than most places.

L’accueil s’est bien fait. À noter que le stationnement est à environ 150m sur une rue plus bas. Chambre hyper petite. À 2 personnes on se pile dessus. Frigo qui ne fonctionnait pas, pas de micro-ondes dans la chambre mais bien dans le lobby. Le micro-onde était le plus salle que je n’ai jamais vu. Tout le lobby était affreusement sale. Tapis, porte, escalier, tout! Les draps semblaient propres. La douche est comme dans un petit garde-robe à part. La porte de ce petit espace ne s’ouvre pas en entier elle vient frapper dans le mini frigo. Ça sent l’humidité. Ce qu’ils ont mis de chaque côté de l’air climatisé, qui est dans la fenêtre, était dégeulasse de saleté. Bref, trouvé sur expédia, nous y avons passé une seule nuit et c’était suffisant. Genre d’endroit avec énormément de potentiel dû à la situation géographique mais qui est négligé et semble à l’abandon. Dommage!

It was cramped and the beds made noise any time you moved. No hot water in the morning, toilet was practically under the sink.

Staff was very accommodating. I am handicapped and all rooms at Atlantic Sands are up stairs. The staff switched us to the Hillcrest Inn nextdoor where there were minimal stairs.
