at first the room was like smoking smell that I could not breathe. I complaint to the hotel staff. They cannot understand English but they phoned someone to communicate. However, they change the room for me and the room was clean, cheap, and safe. Overall, I was highly satisfy with the staff and the room. Also, it's very near to Zoo subway station exit C

Nice affordable hotel in a good neighborhood. Located a short walk from the Zoo station, the property can be a little difficult to find at first. The staff is adequate, but speak English poorly. My room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked excellently. Overall a nice place

Poorly located air-conditioning in the single room

I stayed in one of the single rooms. It's small, but clean. One complaint is that the air conditioner is located directly over the bed. When it starts up, based on the thermostat, it spits condensed drops of water over the bed. Another complaint is that there is a loud noise, a banging that occurs occasionally. It was very bed in the single room on the first floor, better when I moved to the sixth floor. The wifi/Internet access is excellent. And there is a coffee machine in the lobby. Five minute walk to the Guangzhou Zoo which really has an excellent collection of well cared-for animals. Worth a visit. Good restaurants nearby. I stayed four days.
