Poor customer service; good location

Breakfast was good. Not enough seating inside for the morning crowd. Couldnt check in at 4pm bc no rooms ready AND pool/hot tub closed. Pool opened later but hot tub diwn for half of stay. picked hotel and paid higher price bc of those amenities. Asked about a discount and told "we dont do that" which was rude and not great customer service. Didnt even offer to let us speak to manager. Location was good spot. Pd for ocean view, got stuck on 3rd floor so more dunes than ocean. (You need 4th floor to see full beach/ocean) Upon check out, no "thanks for staying." Need some improvement in customer service and should offer something in exchange for loss of pool use and not being able to check in at CHECK IN TIME (Good thing I didnt pay for early check in.

El hotel es en realidad una especie de motel. Para mí la sorpresa fue que muchas habitaciones, entre ellas la nuestra, no tenía una “ventana de verdad”; es decir, tenía ventana pero que daba al pasillo exterior por donde pasa todo el mundo, así que todo el tiempo con las persianas cerradas para tener un poco de intimidad. Lo bueno: un Acevedo directo y privado a la playa; un mar precioso.

Do not waste your previous vacation money here

Hotel died but offer Ron service at all unless they have sufficient staff on board. We didn't have any room service during the 4 day stay. No one came to do anything in the room (clean shower, empty garage, replace towels, replenish body wash, replenish coffee and cups). We even asked about the service at the office and the answer was "we have a lot of check-ins and we don't have enough staff and we won't be able to service your room". This resulted in us having to go once a day to the office to ask for towels and body wash. What s joy.

When we checked in and out, both ladies working the front desk were very rude. I asked about a luggage carrier she looked at me like i was stupid and same yeah we dont have those here. When we carried all of our stuff into the building, there were a bunch of luggage carts by the elevator. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance but the website said it was open. We booked this hotel to be able to use the indoor pool for the kids. When we checked out, I asked for a printed receipt. The next rude front desk lady said unnn since you booked thru a third party they will have to give you the receipt. Almost like she was mad we booked thru hotels.com. My booking thru hotels.com said the hotel would provide the receipt. The rooms were also older than pictures looked. Front door would get stuck. Rust in shower, and the tv remote would barely work. I would not stay here again. I will say only postive were the custodial staff. They were very friendly and helpful.

Very Happy!

I was pleasantly surprised! This hotel checks all the basic boxes and then some. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. The best part was the breakfast! I enjoyed a real, hot meal each morning including biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, and more.

Family weekend

We took our grandsons for a long weekend at the beach. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. It was obvious that the rooms had had a decent remodel. The beds were quite comfortable. It was a nice family atmosphere. The indoor pool was a little cool, but the kids were quite happy with it, and the hot tub was very nice for the adults. We had a beach side balcony, and the view was beautiful.
