A perfect peace of Paradise

We spent a wonderful week at The Villa Beach Cottages with Colin and his amazing team of staff. We were met at the airport by Austin who drove us to the accommodation which was very welcome after a long flight and at night on unfamiliar and ‘interesting’ roads. The accommodation was absolutely lovely and it was so nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. We really cannot praise this place too much, it was a lovely place to stay. All of the staff are so friendly, the rooms are large and beautifully furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could want, the pool areas are lovely and the location adjacent to a beautiful deserted beach is just perfect. We hired a car from the accommodation for the week so were able to fully explore the island and we loved our meeting with the owner Colin on the first day where we were welcomed with a rum punch and Colin gave us lots of tips where to go and where to eat and every one was spot on!! Although set in a quiet location, right outside the entrance you can catch the local mini bus that takes you all over the place so we enjoyed lovely evenings out at nearby Rodney Bay and the marina. There is also a restaurant on site which we ate at several times with home cooked food that was delicious. We would 100% recommend Villa Beach Cottages as a perfect place to stay on this beautiful island and definitely intend to return!!!

Beautiful solo vacation

This was one of my best vacation to the Carribbean. The staff,acomodations and beach were great. The food and drinks served at CoConuts was delcious. Although I did not have a beachfront cottage it only took less than 3.minutes to reach the beach. I will definitely choose Villa Beach Cottages on my next stay in St. Lucia. Many Thanks to Colin for sharing the history of St. Lucia, VBC and suggesting the perfect itinerary.

Wonderful, Friendly Stay

This place is wonderful. We were treated like family from the start and offered any and all assistance possible to make our stay perfect. Each employee, at the front desk, in the restaurant and in the grounds, was friendly and helpful. We received a history lesson and tour information from the manager, and the staff arranged for taxis, dinner reservations, free kayaks and tours any time we asked. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the sea. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else, especially if you are looking for an authentic, non-corporate experience.

Wonderful gem

This is a gem of a little resort. The views from the seaside suites are amazing. Because there are only 26 rooms you don’t have to deal with crowds and there is no battling to find a beach chair. The staff are just lovely. Home cooked meals with local foods! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was that the pool didn’t seem to be heated. Otherwise perfect! Will be back.

One of a kind spit. Great staff. The view from our balcony was amazing. The room beautifully decorated. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots, kettle,microwave, stove, fridge etc.lounger plus table and chairs on balcony. Very clean rooms amd property. Everyone was very very friendly. The owner himself welcomed us. They found out it was my birthday and i came to my room and found decorations, balloons, a cake and a bottle of champagne on ice. Very well done. 👏

Nice view from the balcony over the sea but you need a car to stay here or pay 40 USD every time you want to go to a restaurant in Castries even though it's only a 10 minute journey they charged 20 US dollars each way. The onsite restaurant was terrible and overpriced and also gave us food poisoning. The apartment was large but in need of refurbishment. They left no coffee or tea so you'd need to do a supermarket shop which again is only possible with a car due to the highway behind the property. Overall a disappointing stay. If you have a car and can buy your own provisions to cook it would be fine.

Our family had a very nice stay at Beach Villa Cottages in Castries, Saint Lucia. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the outstanding and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The cottages were perfect for our family, offering all the comforts we needed with a touch of island charm. We loved having the beach and pool right at our doorstep. It was amazing to step out and enjoy the stunning ocean views from our balcony or take a refreshing swim anytime we wanted.

Island comfort,peace and beauty

We had a lovely,clean,well-appointed room on the 2nd floor overlooking Choc Bay. The smaller cottage location was ideal for our needs as an older, childless couple. Friendly,helpful staff. Memories to cherish forever!

Such a wonderful place to stay. All the staff were so friendly, nothing was to much trouble. We didnt want to drive, but getting anywhere wasnt a problem as, reception will just order you a taxi. They literally take you wherever you want to go. And act like your personal tour guide. Cant say enough good things

Felt so safe here! Had our own taxi driver! Would never have found these places if it weren’t for them! The hotel staff was so knowledgeable and friendly! They got us the best tables at nearby establishments and had great recommendations! Place was perfect! Comfortable beds, so clean, working everything. Loved the little diner they had on the grounds too!

Great location in front of beach to explore norther part of island. The beach is the best beach on the island and perfect for morning and evening walk. We were glad we splitted our stay between la duphane estate and the beach cottage giving both different types but memorable experience.

Mr. Hunt and his team are amazing! They handled all our transportation and reservation needs. They provided a personal tour for just the four of us around the island and even let us stop by their sister property for a swim. The older cottages could use some updating and the beds are hard. We will forever remember our time in St. Lucia. Hopefully, we will be back!

You absolutely cannot beat how close this property is to the ocean. It’s just a dream to listen to the waves while you drift off to sleep and as you wake up. The staff is amazing…so friendly and helpful. They offer an incredibly reasonable tour of the Soulfreire region that we highly recommend as well. We would absolutely stay here again.
