I reported that my AC isn’t working and no one ever called and looked at my AC although I was told about 4 times that someone will come by my room to look into the matter. No ONE EVER DID. I spoke with several agents via phone and in person in the diamond club lobby and to no avail. So I was left to sleep in heat, sweating which made my one night stay completely terrible. I tried to speak to the manager but had to leave before they could make it to me as my taxi was waiting. Prior to that, every time I asked for a manager, I was told they were in a meeting. While the resort is beautiful, this matter made my stay very miserable and uncomfortable as you can imagine. Also, I called for a bellboy and they kept repeating “I don’t know” until the eventually hung up on me. (I guess he couldnt speak English) I hope the review reaches the management as I am back home now.

It was a very good stay but very expensive. Definitely a treat, but not a deal. The staff is extremely friendly as long as you tip consistently. Water was mostly clear but not great for snorkeling. Beautiful view with a balcony.

I will NEVER stay at this property and even questioning if I will ever comeback to Punta Cana again. On the day I was leaving, as usual I am going to the front desk to conclude all matters, and I was supposed to be at the airport by 3pm, it was 1pm. I had paid for my trip via Expedia on January 3 and was staying January 14 - 19, 2025. At this time their rep had stated I owe $2300 for my stay. I showed my itinerary, receipt of purchase on Expedia and my bank statement. They stated I had forged all the documents. After 45 minutes of fighting, they stated I owe $1300. I still refused to make any payment. At this time, they started asking how much lose money did I have. I stated none. At 215 pm I proceeded to take my luggage and walk off the premises. My fiancé and I were outside the gates, when they had 7 male staff members start pushing us around and not letting us leave. One staff member pushed me (which now has caused meniscus damage to my left knee. The staff member then took my suitcase and brought it back to the resort. At this time the tourist police were called. At this time, they also asked how much money I had. 6 male staff members surrounded my fiancé and would not let him move and kept him from me. At this time, many people were recording the situation as I was also. With such attention, the manager stated to pay $500, and they would give me back my suitcase and fiancé. The tourist police said this was fair. I paid the $500 and we were released. NEVER

UUnfortunately, the restaurant food wasn't great, but the main reason for my rating is the lack of accommodations on the beach or by the pool. You need to be at the beach before 5 am to secure chairs, and it's the same story at the pool. It's not the staff's fault - they do their best to assist, but they are quite limited.

The pool staff & waitresses were excellent! The resort was decent, property wise, but you can tell it’s 10 years old. Our shower drain didn’t work well, causing half the bathroom to flood every time we showered. Staff said it was fixed, but continued to happen. The buffet was small and probably the worst I’ve had.The Italian was by far the best food we had there. We were supposed to have a butler, who never showed so we struggled with making reservations, until we figured out the resort app the day before we left. Over-all it was okay. We’re not super picky but I would not go back to this same resort.

Be aware that you will be harassed about signing up for the Diamond package your whole stay. If you don’t sign up for it you have limited options for pools, beach access and dining options. I was not happy with this resort. It’s small, has no hot tubs and the food was not good at any of the restaurants with the exception of the Italian restaurant. The pizza was good there.
